To be honest finding the drive to take care of my collection lately has been difficult but thankfully mine are understanding 😅 Took some photos during feeding time!

My philodendron Brasil is really filling in. I would like to prop her again to get another vine in when I repot it. Originally I got a long cutting for a dollar from FB marketplace. Although I made one long cutting into several cuttings, I hadn't done it properly. Out of all of it I had three cuttings with a single leaf each that had rooted. Although I do believe one of the three has not grown, the other two have taken off. The color pattern is neat. If it is not a Brasil please correct me, it was labeled as that at sale.

Another picture of my Marble Queen because she is beautiful and I love her. Probably going to take a couple cuttings soon as I wasn't able to trellis them in the way I wanted.

My Ficus Shivereana (Moonshine) has grown tall! Definitely one of my favorite big plants. This is one I hope to keep until I'm old if not till I die 🤷🏻‍♀️

Last but not least, little baby philodendron Birkin! So cute and still growing away. I'd like to sell her but I have no idea what someone would pay. In the meantime I enjoy having a tiny little Philo in the collection.

While checking out the new leaf on the PPP, I saw that the last one is bigger than my forearm 🤩 The Thai Constellation is looking beautiful in addition to popping out another leaf. The 3 new leaves in the Amydrium SS have unfurled and completely change the look of this plant. It is so much more full, they grew up so much higher...I have since moved it to a spot closer to the grow light, so I wonder if the next leaves will grow lower instead of climbing up so high 🤔

new plants! new plants! new plants!

I got myself TWO new plants for my birthday. the one on the left is a Hoya carnosa (the tag says Hoya Krimson Queen) and the right is a Ficus triangularis.

I've wanted a ficus for like at least a year and a half at this point and finally let myself get one. I know they're finicky and dramatic so looking forward to that lmao. And I was only recently sold on hoyas and so wanted one for myself and I liked the flower colors on the carnosa best of the plants available to me on this day so I picked her. Very excited!!!!

Type: Peace Lily (baby, came off my bigger plant when I was taking dead leaves out)

Notes: Very chill plant as well, copes well with the lack of light here, always flowers when I forget to water it for a while. I hope this baby plant makes it, but the roots looked good when I potted it, so I have hope.

Needs: Water when the top 1/3 of the soil is dry indirect light generic compost works well

i got two new plants! I meant to get just one (the money tree, from a local nursery) but then I went to Home Depot to get cheap soil to plant cat grass in (so my menace son will stop munching on my plants) and saw the most sorry looking tiny elephant bush. There were so many dead leaves in its pot and all the still alive leaves were extremely shriveled. and how could I leave it! They sit by my bed now :)

the arboretum I live close to was having a native plant sale today and I got two plants (both wildflowers)!!! and then I'm trying once again to grow bluebonnets from seeds (the birds got to them last year before they even really got started) and this year I have a secret weapon: a screened in porch.

I am planning to move everything out of the screen once they start blooming so bugs and birds and stuff can get to them but IM going to enjoy them first, sorry nature
