ART FROM 2025 / #1
SORRY TO MY BODY / THE SHOEBOX / ACID INTERFERENCE
On one hand I see a lot of people saying that art comes from a place of suffering.
and, on the other, people say that this is a romanticization of sadness and that art comes from good feelings.
Both sides have limited thoughts (despite the second group being well-intentioned).
Actually, the act of creation comes from all kinds of feelings, the good and the bad ones.
Happiness, sadness, fun, boredom, contempt, hope, love, hate ... everything can be the matrix.
Art is not a good thing, art is not a bad thing.
Art is a chaotic amalgam of what humanity is. It is very common you see people with, again, good intentions, highlighting how therapeutic and positive art can be, and this is true, but art can also represent, for those who produce and for those who devour, destruction and addiction too.
