This isnt a usual post from me - i’m just having fun with a really old camera and wanted to post about it.
The second photo was taken right after i shot my first picture on a old plate 9x12 camera. The camera has no name or anything on it, but the lense is a C. Friedrich Coronar 15cm 4.5. It was the first time i shot large format.
I shot the picture on Fomapan 100 and as you can see, i screwed it up by putting the darkslide in wrong, but somehow i got something. The two plate holder i got are a little bit rusty, but with some care i made them work and the last pictures i developed were great.
I’m shooting it a lot the last days, but i really need to learn the format and process involved. I hope i will get something interesting with it soon.
By the way: These cameras doesnt cost a lot (mine was 30 euro) so i can encourage everyone interested to just try finding one more or less working, restoring it and shooting afterwards.
Big grins!
Hey, Lisa, can I get a photo for the front page?
