Funniest part of DnD and pathfinder alchemists is they need to balance shit for every class so they have a bs "uhhh the magic potions you make only work for you," lore explanation like the whole point of the class isn't making potions for you and your bros. They really made a whole class with worse spells papered over with a "potions" aesthetic that doesn't even fit the class fantasy and sold it.

If you can't hand your friends an experimental potion and say "try this," what's the fucking point of playing them. "Oooh no it only works for me my magical energy is infused into the potion anyone else that drinks them doesn't get the same effects"

Truly they have no idea why or how anyone plays their game.
