**View more of my Obscure Kpop Series** Playback is a 5 member girl group from Coridel Entertainment. They officially debuted on June 25, 2015 with the self-titled song Playback. I'll admit that I've never heard of this group until now. They probably fell under the radar with all the different girl groups that kept popping up...Anyway, I happened to click on this song because the thumbnail for the video looked cute/playful rather than the typical (almost too much) aegyo-filled songs I typically see from girl groups (not that there's anything wrong but sometimes you just want something less cutesy). The song and concept is kinda like something Black Pink might do. The song sounds a bit hip in some parts but still manages to be cute without overdoing it. It's got a fun island-ish vibe.
