you know, i’m just really fucking sad about playback. in 2015, i still wasn’t really into new kpop groups, but as soon as i heard playback i fell in love. they were, by far, my favorite girl group since probably sistar, and i was so excited to hear more from them. i was sad that they only had a single and not a mini album, but it was ok. then they came back with the song with eric nam (i forgot what it’s called lol) and even though i liked it less than playback i thought it would be good to have a song with eric nam since he’s so popular. and then they just... disappeared. for over a year. i had no idea what happened to them, i tried to find out if they disbanded or not but there were no news... i remember last christmas when wooim uploaded a cover song and i was so happy to see her again. i thought that after jessica moved to their company that they will surely benefit from that... but while jessica had a few comebacks (and i’m not saying it’s a bad thing - i love jessica with all my heart, she was my first female bias), playback still haven’t done anything. then they announced that they’re adding eunjin, and they even decided to change back to promote under their real names, and they all talked about working on an album and having a comeback this year. i was sure that they will have a comeback in july, after eunjin’s solo song...

but now? they’re going to yg’s reality show, which tbh i don’t even know anything about (i don’t like yg at all lol) and i’m just so sad and angry and disappointed. i want to keep supporting them, but i don’t think i’ll watch that show... if they went on the unit at least i could support them there because i’m watching it anyways, but... idk.

sometimes stanning underrated groups can be so fucking painful. since my main fandom is a really popular group (super junior) and i do stan a few popular groups, i sometimes forget how hard it is to watch underrated groups suffer and not be able to do anything to help...

it’s been over 2 years since their debut, over 2 years since their first and last comeback, and i’m still waiting. i hope everything will go well for them on that show and they’ll be able to come back after...
