Ah yes, Reunion and Turnabout where Phoenix is haunted by two gjost, Edgeworth and Mia, and only one of them is dead. I've always love the fact that we could get the answer that Edgeworth is dead or not if he would just ask Maya or even Pearl to see if they could channel him, but he is too afraid and so never does so we get the surprise of Edgeworth is alive in Farewell, My Turnabout.

Currently playing through Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

One of my favorite things is how different Pelleas and Soren react to Micaiah's ability to read someone's heart. Pelleas thinks it's really awesome, meanwhile Soren immediately lashes out, because that's PRIVATE INFORMATION. Yelling at her that she doesn't know anything about him.

Anyway I love my angry son and Miccy.

I've had Sceleritas Fel for 15 minutes and if anything happened to him I would kill everybody in this game and then myself

You know? When I started p3r I couldn’t quite grasp Akihiko’s personality.

Everyone calls him a hothead, but really he’s very calm? I’m playing with the Japanese voices too.

But after his first linked episode I totally get it. He stands by his convictions. I really respect him. He’s such a cool guy. He’s shy about fans, but above all he doesn’t WANT to be gawked at in the first place. He’s a bit irrational and has a need to prove himself, but I don’t think hothead is the right word for him. I love him.

I’ve said it before but persona3 seems to be about just some friends. Just some guys but. They’re YOUR friends. And akihiko really hits that for me. He’s not anywhere near ryuji or kanji level of hothead. He’s just a really nice guy, actually.

I STARTED PLAYING PATHOLOGIC

long story short i can't play the remastered translation! so ive been playing the old original one! honestly not as bad as everyone said it was imo, but im only on day two, so like.

anyways! thoughts!

- love daniil! he's such an asshole!

- ive done what i always do when i play stardew valley, meaning i came up with a ton of character head canons and things based on how im playing and thinking about the characters

- the main one being the head canon that daniil actually secretly really likes kids but his reputation! no children suck! little demons!

- came up with this bc i love talking with the kids! i can get so much information! and that teenager talking about the transparent cat!? idk what she's going on about but like! good for you! if only i could find the place she was telling me to go to!

- mark immortal is cool i guess, love the fit, and he's actually helpful in telling me about the future so like. nice. 

- kains already annoy me

- on daniil’s map he refers to eva (or eve in this translation) as “a very clever and kind woman” and im like awww be friends!

- i already know a bit about the game but like. i just want daniil to be friends with everyone. but his dialogue options. omg he's such an asshole.

- i love him.

- i got killed like 5 times by muggers at like 2 am so like! awesome! :)))

- and i forgot to save! so i had to respawn 30 minutes before (irl minutes. not in game. kill me.)

- the combat is actively fucking me.

- the walking isn't that bad? i know a lot of people said that it was awful but i actually enjoyed it lol

- im having this weird glitch where i can't turn to the right - like my view goes weird and rubber bands if i turn my cursor to the right more than a little bit so daniil is constantly spinning around corners 

- probably looks really weird to everyone ngl 

- the magnificent spinning bachelor! boy spins!!

- anyways thats about it i think,, i talked to maria way later in day one than i should have bc i didn't give a shit about her and ended up helping anna angel hide a body

Ah Turnabout Big Top, my least favorite case in the first three days. I'm with the judge in punting Moe into the goddamn sun.

Though of note, I have never made note of the case being exactly one year since Edgeworth was declared Not Guilty of two murders. Though that was definitely intentional in the original release, where there was no Rise from the Ashes where this is the first time Edgeworth is mentioned more than in just passing by the main cast.
