It's late at night and I feel like crap and I'm thinking about poetry for some bloody reason. I've never liked poetry, I've always hated it, not because it isn't creative, it is it really is, It takes so much effort to do poetry, but to me it always felt TOO emotional, yknow? Like no matter how eloquent or fancy a peice of poetry is, it's a person screaming their happiness, or sadness, or grief, or sense of wonder, or burning, painful love for something, or someone onto a page. It's a person wreching out a part of their soul, or their heart, then mashing it and grinding it into sentences and metaphors and for some reason, I've never liked that. Then I think to myself, "what the fuck does that say about me as a person?" And then I think, "Shit." And then I think, man, I am REALLY tired.

I don't take rejection well

Well today I learned I didn't even make it past the online application for the DCP Spring 2018 program... now I don't even know what to do since that was the only thing keeping me in college. Literally the only dream I've ever had on my own is over before it even began. I can always reapply (maybe they don't except most people on their first try??) but I really had my heart set on the spring and I can't keep living the way I am for another whole year. I'm so crushed. I'm trying to convince myself it's for the best but...idk. I'm so bitter. I'm so unhappy with life and this was supposed to be my silver lining. Disney has always taught me to keep on believing but now my dream is fucking dead and I have nothing to look forward to. It also doesn't help that all I see on here are all the excited people who got in. I'm happy for them but I'm just left here so alone. Maybe it's time to impulsively dye my hair and get as far away from the stupid "Disney look" as possible.
