Gentle reminder to the Heated Rivalry enjoyers/fandom.

Please tag your posts. Sometimes people are out in public using the app. Sometimes they have little cousins asking if they got games on their phone.

Oh, and asexuals exist and they rely on tags so they can avoid seeing posts like that. And just people in general who don't like to see sexual content in their feed.

Please use tags. Its simple. Lately I've been seeing posts without them and its.....I have no words for some of the things I have seen. You guys not using tags makes blocking tags useless. So please, just use tags. Not everyone likes seeing that stuff. My dad and I had an awkward moment because of this because he happened to glance at my screen. He doesn't care, but it was really awkward.....

Please may I kindly ask that you use tags when posting about elections etc.?

I like coming on tumblr to escape the news etc. and while I am very very aware of the devastation that's happening in the world right now, I would just like a little safe spot to enjoy sims, cats and stardew valley.

I don't want to take away the importance of what's going on; but I would just like the option to filter out stuff that'll otherwise invade my silly space on tumblr. I engage in this stuff outside of tumblr, and come here to escape, and not worry about panic attacks and doom scrolling!

I desperately need some of you guys to just tag your fics as “switch reader” or “switch character”

There’s no reason for me to search dom/top reader only to have sub reader in the same tag UNLESS it’s a bunch of one shots

It sucks when I search dom reader and it either switches part way through or it’s just sub reader

Like you can still include dom and sub tones, undertones etc but don’t tag it as dom reader or sub reader if your going to have them switch at some point

Hey, um.

I just wanted to ask you to please tag major character death when it applies.

Sometimes it's hard to tell from the description/summary.

Sometimes, I'll read for a while and start to question the circumstances. When that happens, I go straight back to the tags to double check that I didn't miss the warning. When I don't see it, I trust that the author/content creator hasn't steered me wrong and keep going only to be sucker punched a few paragraphs later. And as stupid as it sounds, I spend the rest of the day trying to recover from that.

Just- please tag appropriately, even if you're worried that it will give away a plot point.

Hey mutuals, I haven’t mentioned anything about tags recently, but tags are necessary for my enjoyment of this hellsite (affectionate). Please tag. I will FIND and USE your tag. You don’t have to tell me beforehand. I will incorporate it.

If you are discussing sensitive topics, especially topics that can be triggering to some, PLEASE tag it! I’ve seen multiple posts today where it was something that could be someone’s trigger and it was not tagged whatsoever, so it wasn’t able to be filtered out. I’ve had to unfollow people before for refusing to tag their posts, so please be compassionate to others and use the tags so others can use the filters properly. Be kind. Thank you so much.
