years after leaving the BAU, Derek is going through some of his old stuff when he finds something of Spencer’s. This discovery gets them back in touch, so on and so forth (AU where Derek isn’t married with kids, because who the hell needs canon)
Derek and Spencer get called in in the middle of an argument and wind up in a high-speed foot chase/hostage situation/some other highly dangerous situation and Spencer dies, the rest of the fic follows Derek’s grief and he eventually gets closure in a conversation with Spencer’s “ghost”
Derek confronts Spencer after Spencer meets Ethan in season 2 because of how out-of-character he’s been acting, and finds out about Spencer’s drug problem
its been confirmed that we will have an election on the 12th december, so this is a reminder to all of my fellow uk followers to register to vote. it is so easy to do and so important. please please please if you are of age vote and lets kick the tories out of power
