I'm so serious right now that this scene means so much for Langdon and Mel's relationship and what's worse is I can't watch it right now because of WORK

If the trope "I hate everyone, except her" had a faceclaim:
May I have some teases 👉👈 this lee mood is kicking my ass across all 7 continents
Have there been wing au of Assassin’s Creed? If not then that’s a big fucking shame, it would fit so WELL
Idk, I don’t have any other idea rn besides:
Birb stabby fellas, y’know?
Ayeeee, let's start with a bit of critique, shall we?
(Because I definitely have nothing else to do... nooooo...)
Btw this contains spoilers, I guess
.
The things that I liked:
First of all: I love the actors. They did a really good job. Especially the portrayal of teenagers. In a lot of shows, they look like 25 year-olds, and they act like 25 year-olds, but I really had the feeling of "Yes, these are the 16/17-year-old idiots they're supposed to be".
I also liked the sets. You can see the details in the background and the little nods to their characters.
I love how Lucy can feel what Annie felt while touching the ring, and I love her exploring her powers.
Their. Bodylanguage. Like how George is switching sides and stands next to Lucy when he agrees with her. The "we look at each other like oblivious idiots".
The bonding moments between George and Lucy and George and Lockwood. It shows that he is also important to them even tho he doubts it during the events of the last episodes.
The manipulation from Joplin towards George was on point and her obsession with knowledge.
I loved Kipps (even he had robbed screen time) and the way the showed his insecurities.
I am also invested in the story-line with Norrie. She seemed like a very nice character that could be important later. Especially since they made the coma/ghost-locked thing an important aspect of the show.
The scene in the hospital where Lucy finds all the people in the coma was actually pretty fitting. I really liked the danger the ghosts can have.
And of course his whole team. Kat being an icon, Bobby being the little smart boy he is and Ned also being an active agent.
And the sarcasm was on point.
Things that could've been better:
I kinda miss some scenes that were in the book. Like the scene at the beginning of the second book (I know they didn't have the time or money for it but still). I also missed some scenes to calm down. Like them sitting together after a job and just chatting a bit. I know it's way easier to put that in a book than a show but one or two scenes wouldn't have hurt.
I also miss the ghost in Bickerstaff's house. Like how creepy it actually was and I kinda miss that Kipps' team wasn't there cause it took away their effort to win this bet.
I also think at some points in the show Lucy is a bit out of character. I mean how she actually likes working at Jacob & Co and how and during the scenes with the ghost she... didn't really fight? Cause she is a trained agent and she is talented. And I dislike that she wants the world to know about the skull cause it's more like a secret.
I also think George should've been with them at some points (like Lucy at the DEPRAC headquarters or the ball).
I also missed that Ned was the kind of guy who punches the info out of you.
And of course: the storyline with Annie was way too fast, especially the Combe Carey Hall bit. I also missed the tour and Lockwood's intelligence and Fairfax deep regret of killing Annie. That it was an accident that was made out of jealousy rather than an act of brutality and hate.
Things, where I don't know how to feel:
I'm not sure about the changes with Annie. Especially with the ring. It doesn't make a difference, but it wouldn't have changed anything to stay with the necklace.
What is going on with the skull?? Like I have to know. I hope they didn't "destroy" him.
Winkman being an absolute psycho instead of a business man. I like him as a maniac but I also miss his shop and Lucy and Lockwood's "shopping trip"
What I think overall:
I genuinely liked the show. Of course, they can't make it "perfect" but considering their budget (that we don't know) I think they did the best they could've done.
I really hope for a second season, considering it didn't have that much of a budget and only a few big actors on the show it's possible. Also considering that Netflix renews book adaptations more often than original shows we might have a chance (?)
