hello hello! drafting a zutara wing au where the four nations each have different wings

ive come up with

fire- dragon esque wings

water- bird- specifically like owls and stuff esque wings, monochromatic- black, white, gray to blend in at night and in the snow

im having trouble deciding what the air and earth wings should represent. anyone have any ideas?

air- faerie-insect like

earth- featherwings but colorful

OR swip-swap, earth=insect like and air= colorful featherwings

of course if theres mixing of blood lines theres exceptions- such as air and fire- there's a 50/50 chance of being either or, or you could be born one thing and go through a metamorphosis into another.

Pokémon Wing AU Designs (Sonia, Goh, and Ash)

Since I'm finishing up writing "Every Little Feather, Is a Dearly Cherished Treasure", I wanted to finish designing these three's wings!

Sonia's wings are rather simple. Orange to match her color scheme and tipped with yellow to reference her beloved little Yamper!

Goh's are a more unique shape compared to other's with the color's matching not just his color scheme but referencing Cinderance as well!

Ash meanwhile was the one that took the longest. I wanted to reference the many bird Pokémon he had but each time I tried mixing them together the design looked messy, so instead it's a more simple look referencing only a few.

His feather colors are reference to his Pidgeot that he captured in Kanto waaaaaaaay back during the near start of his journey, along with the darker feather's representing Spearrow. The yellow of course references Pikachu (Because it's Pikachu!), however they also are a nod towards his shiny Noctowl! I also tried to show the fact his wings having so many colors reference how similar he and Leon are, yet still making them both separate from each other as well.
