I think he'd be observing you pretty closely, and when you make eye contact he questions you with a look, and when you draw the heart or the message, he kind of freezes. I think he would intensely observe it before coming very close to the glass to try to get to you. But if he realized there wasn't a way, I think he'd either try to write you the same back with extra hearts OR he would show you his eyes, even if embarrassed, because he has been told they show hearts when he is enamored, and he is sure he is at the moment. So you'd get to see his cute little hearts in his pupils. Maybe a bit hard to see at first with his red and dark eyes, but once you caught sight, I think it would be pretty easy to know what they are. You might even hear him rumbling if the glass isn't too thick or it's not to hard to hear through.
But if he can get to you, good luck. He is going to sweep you off your feet and drag you away for affection. He might even tell you how that wasn't very fair and now that you started it, you have to end it. Make it up to him and kiss him for a while. It will only take a few minutes, (20 minutes is a few, right?)

I don't know if you mean fic AUs that I have with my main 6 boys (The slashers, the creatures, and the plex boys) or Atlas and Soleil AUs with all of those tiny universes I have created of AUs of an AU. So I will do both!
I'll do Plex boys for the fic AUs! And then I'll do Mythic AU for the Slasher AUs. Since I'm doing a few, I'll do their most favorite spot.
Plex Sun loves to be kissed on the cheek. It makes his rays spin and brings him all sorts of joy! He feels special and warm with cheek kisses. It makes him feel like a housewife. Getting a sweet kiss from his honey! Do it while he's doing something around the house and he goes crazy with his inner fantasies. (Though his nose is a close second. He doesn't know why, it's just silly for him!)
Plex Moon likes kisses on his hands. It makes him nervous at first. He's a security bot with retractable claws. They are dangerous. They are probably dirty. He wouldn't think you'd want to kiss them. But when you do, he feels sparks. Watching you kiss the top of his hand or his fingers or dare say it, even his palms. He's in heaven. You make him feel so safe.
Vampire Soleil loves to be kissed on his neck. It's a vulnerable and sensual spot for him. Especially is you cover his adam's apple with your mouth or his arteries, even if they don't really work anymore, he feels tingly. He feels like you could eat him whole for once instead of the other way around. It really excites him, so be careful doing it. It's a weak spot for him and he'll melt in through your fingers.
And Werewolf Atlas, like many Atlas's, are pretty plain. His favorite place to be kissed is his lips. And it's because he wants to kiss you back, and he wants to kiss you back in such a way that has you dizzy by the end. He knows he can do that if you kiss his lips. He doesn't like to sit back seat for long when it comes to kisses. They are one of his favorite things after all. So let him join you in kissing and kiss his lips. They are always waiting for you.

How about DCA reactions to reader showing up during the holiday season with mistletoe headband and/or necklace?

I sort of answered this a little on Bluesky for a the little more risqué part, but I can answer here as well in a little more detail!
The creatures do not know what mistletoe are. Creature Sun might think it is something to eat. DO NOT LET HIM EAT IT. HE WILL GET SICK. It's best to leave these plants for the ones who know what they are about. The creatures will kiss you anyhow whenever if you show interest in them, even if they aren't the best at human kisses. They try for you <3
For Plex Sun, it is kisses, kisses, kisses! Oh and how he wants kisses back where he has kissed! He kissed your sternum and now it must kiss him back! He kissed your lips, so it's only natural that they come back for a thank you! It's give and receive with him! Keep it equal so he feels the love, too! Oh! And don't let him get you if you are in the daycare with this! How will he focus on his job when you are asking for so many kisses? He will surely get too distracted and something will go amiss.
Plex Moon has his own trick up his sleeve, or really, tied around the end of his hat near his bell. A mistletoe of his own to flop over his head for kisses for him too! He thinks he's smart and will even pick it up with his fingers and jingle it at you in asks for kisses of his own. He won't be missing out on any of the fun!
Atlas is the simplest. He will kiss you every time you come near. Even if you are passing, he'll take a hand to wrap around your waist to momentarily stop you and pull you in for a quick kiss before letting you go off and do your own thing. You are asking for kisses, and he must provide. Atlas is actually pretty tame with mistletoe kisses. Just simple pecks really, or maybe if it's the last one before you take it off, a solid caressing of the lips, but it's a "Christmas tradition" he says he won't make dirty. Yet.
Soleil is a little silly. He's happy to provide kisses! But it doesn't stop him from being bashful about them. And just because you have mistletoe on doesn't equal consent in his mind to kiss you. He's still going to ask if he can kiss you or if it's ok. It might take him a minute to work up to actually asking as well, he's going to be a bit embarrassed. A mistletoe will make Soleil overthink a little more than usual about his kisses and he's going to feel the need to ask even more if it's actually ok to kiss you. But at least he knows you are in a festive mood and are hinting at actually wanting kisses! Like I put in my Bluesky answer, "...this plant cannot provide consent for you kind of deal for him, but it’d at least hint him to what you are wanting!!"
So a shy Soleil asking every few minutes while you are near because he cannot help himself for a kiss. If people are around, it's very chaste and he is red for minutes afterward out of embarrassment, but if you are alone? Expect it to be a little more intimate. Maybe even a little sloppy because he's so excited and can't think. It's festive! He can't just give you little kisses on the holidays when you are alone together! You are making out.
would I be able to convince the dca (plex, slasher & creature) to color with me? different coloring books or working on the same one. Would any of them enjoy it or just do it 'for you'?

Plex Sun would ADORE coloring with you! He enjoys it fully and makes it pretty and perfect! He wants to work with you, but separate is ok too! Completely in the lines and whatever colors his heart desires that fits into his coding! Plex Moon will color too, but it's coloring in the dark so it's a little hard, and he enjoys it a little simply because it's working on something together with you, but he doesn't enjoy it like Sun does! It needs to be in the same book and piece as you. He wants to feel connected by it.
Soleil likes coloring, and would definitely like coloring with you, but he treats it like an extreme sport. It's for perfection, not just fun! He needs it perfect! Will cry if he accidentally colors outside of the lines or puts down the wrong color in the wrong area. He needs his own book, just in case. Atlas is lazy with coloring, and it's mostly for you, but sometimes he enjoys coloring designs and such instead of normal coloring books. He can get behind repetitive coloring like mandalas or patterns. He doesn't care if it's together or separate. He just wants you to be happy and enjoying yourself with him.
The creatures don't really color normally. They might paint though if you show them how! Creature Sun will paint your face and body and then show you how he does it with Moon! Creature Moon will show how he paints Sun as well and will paint on you in his own color. Coloring books are too little for them, and so are little crayons, markers, and colored pencils. They might snap them if they try coloring in a book with them. They don't know how to color, and they don't know how to write. They are just creatures in the woods. But painting might be easier and more familiar!

I think this is silly to think about, but also kind of real, you know? Sometimes we do get obsessed with characters and I think it scares and can make partners worried or they can just love that you are having fun! It's interesting to see which way it goes.
Plex boys will think it's cute and will try to learn as much about the character as possible to talk with you about them. At times they might get a little nervous because they are just animatronics and your character could easily become an AI put into a robot and suddenly they would have competition, but that's them worrying of the worst case scenario that will truly never happen. Usually it's just them listening about this character and thinking you have a lot of love in your heart. Though they do question if the character is nothing like them. That confuses them. Why this one in specific again?
D&D boys partially have no room to talk. Soleil is OBSESSED with so many wizards, who yes may be real, but there is no chance of him getting with or even meeting most of them. (Some are dead if not most, so he's really not going to meet them.) He's also obsessed with Mystra, who very much isn't like Atlas, and may not be very much like you. So, who is he to talk when you are constantly talking about a fictional character when he constantly talks about his beloved fancy and cool wizards. Atlas gets a little ticked off at both of you for this. He's a perfectly good Tiefling boyfriend right in front of both of you. Show him some attention once in a while. He feels like you never talk about him like you do your fictional characters, so he gets a little jealous.
Slasher boys really do try to let you enjoy your character, but they've got some heavy jealousy running through their veins that is going to make it hard for them to play along. Soleil is going to get pouty and whiny about it. He may verbally say that you seem to like the character more than him and Attie, and he seems to actually mean it. It makes him worried that you don't actually like them, especially if this character is quite different. He's going to start asking what you do like about him and Attie that compares to this fictional character. Talk about them too! They would like it 🥺 Soleil just wants to make sure you actually like them and that they aren't just placement holders for your affection.
Atlas just gets a little grumpy. Yes, he knows you love this character. Yes it was cute at first, he loved your passion. But now they take up so much of your conversations and comments and it makes him honestly a little sad inside. You'll make him the tiniest bit insecure with it, even though he logically knows this fictional character is nothing for him to worry about. He honestly just wants a good amount of your attention. If you give him plenty, he won't care as much about the fictional character, but he might poke that he's scared you're going to run away with them and marry them when he isn't looking.
Plex Sun and Plex Moon used to tease each other when they were out in the daycare working before Moon’s update by flashing images of the one in the thoughts in a suggestive situation or position to fluster the one out. It was a game they both loved to play until Sun overheated too far one day and blew a fuse.
They had to stop playing that game after that because Sun going down mid working day was a catastrophe and very traumatic for the children. Only teasing words from then on. If only they had better cooling systems and processors back then 😔
