Cricky's Hard Nos, a list of things I'm not ok with!
I havenât really explained plainly anywhere what has been going on lately with my life lately with the lack of updates on things. I canât go into exact detail with everything, but I can at least tell you a little about the health aspect which is the biggest and most important part.
As many know, I am disabled and sick and I have been working on trying to get disability since 2022 with little luck so far but at this point it sounds like I have a chance at this next go that is planned. Me and my attorney are hopeful. But that isnât the biggest issues right now. Iâve been sick and ignoring it for a long time, but Iâve been declining and it finally got to a point where I needed to change.
It started with seeing an Eating Disorder Specialist starting a few months ago and trying to work on my EDs, which then led to me trying to work on my diabetes which has been getting worse over the years. I was pre-diabetic since 2020 but became diabetic I think around 2023 or 2024, but my A1c has only been rising even with my restrictive ED that started back up with a vengeance in 2024. So things had to be done. Good news: Iâm not skipping whole days of eating anymore and usually eat 3 times a day. A win.
Bad news: Itâs making my diabetes worse because itâs fucking with my sugars. So, now I have a fancy glucose monitor that I wear at all times to constantly check my sugars. Itâs weird and Iâm still getting used to it, but I hope it helps me out. Thankfully itâs super easy to use and put on beside the over patch that I need help with. Weâll see how hard it is to take off when Friday comes.
During this Iâve been dealing with kidney stones, one I had to have surgery for last year and have been trying to heal from since. The biggest issue with these is I canât fully work on my diabetes and with my nephrologist for stone management until I get my ED under further control.
Right now, we are just trying to get me to eat anything. Sometimes itâs a handful of fries, sometimes itâs one piece of toast, and at worst, just a diabetic drink that has protein in it to get by. Somedays I do really good. I eat breakfast now! Every day! I havenât skipped since I started that goal and Iâm proud because itâs challenging. But really, we arenât focusing on nutrition or food groups or proper ways to eat, we are focusing on eating. The rest comes later. And right now that treatment is on pause.
There unfortunately came a problem with my ED treatment that we couldnât work around. My severe OCD. It is one of the biggest components to my ED besides my PTSD, and unfortunately, it is too big to ignore and make progress with eating when itâs always in the way. So in order to go forward in my ED treatment and make bigger progress, I needed to address my unrelenting OCD and ever present anxiety first. I had to go into special treatment.
I am currently in an IOP (intensive outpatient program) because I canât do PHP (partial hospitalization program, a step up from IOP) because of my disabilities, and I canât do residential (a step up from PHP) because of my disabilities AND my insurance wonât cover it. So Iâve gone into IOP. Bad news: they put me in the wrong program. So Iâve been working with the program they put me in while trying to get into the right program. The right program is specifically for intensive OCD and anxiety treatment instead of generalized treatment usually for people coming out of hospitalization. Iâve already done this program in 2020, so it doesnât help me much. Once I get into the right treatment, itâs everyday in person over an hour away 5 days a week for 6 weeks. I have to get special transportation for it and itâs really going to fuck me up for a while, so things might stay quieter for a while unfortunately.
When I have free time on weekends, I will most likely be resting from the week, but I will try to write and maybe draw as I can and hopefully give creative updates. I want to update my fics, but right now itâs hard even with the online chiller program. The real program for me wonât be as simple. Itâs going to take a lot of energy and effort. But Iâm trying to get to a point where Iâm not so sick all the time anymore. I know Iâm still going to be disabled, but I hope I can at least be a little better at coping with it.
My regular weekly therapy, my bi weekly ED appointments and my 6 weeks psychiatry appointments are all on hold during this until I complete the program. If I donât do well, they can lengthen it. I donât think they will lessen it even if I do well. I have to figure out how to do my other doctorâs appointments during this time but Iâll work that out.
I hate to put this here, but I'm so close to my goal and would love to get off of everyone's feed asking for help. I have posted about it multiple times on Bluesky and feel bad doing so, so this time I'm posting here too in case I can get some help and finally stop posting about it.
I will delete this once I hit my goal so as to not block up the blog feed, but if you can help or share, that would be lovely. I just want this goal out of the way so I can get everything I need and a little support for the month and stop worrying about it. No I do not and I try not to interact with the content. Itâs not my cup of tea, especially as a SunxMoon shipper and having bad experiences with people in the fandom interacting with me in the past, but itâs fine if itâs your cup of tea.

Iâve always been curious about how they handle a stubborn reader (for instance, one who refuses money or insists on being independent and doing everything themselves). Itâs something that actually annoys them a bit, though not enough to make them truly angry
So, what happens if the reader doesn't stop and keeps doing things their own way (Even after a serious conversation with them)?
Do they have a limit to their patience? If yes, how do they react?

I have a feeling this is based on these two asks right here.
I think this would just be a fight that happens in the relationship then if reader truly isn't willing to give any, because the boys don't want to give either and they have already offered alternatives so everyone can be happy, but if you aren't willing to take them, then they will keep trying to have that conversation with you, or keep fighting with you over the things happening.
They try not to make it a big deal, but it's frustrating for them. They try to say that relationships are a two way (three way in this case?) street. It's give and take. They need you to take. It gets messy for a while and if you are truly too stubborn to accept any of their help in any way? I think that leads to a talk about the relationship. A "we are feeling bad about this and it always happens. It's important to us that things feel equal and that we feel like we are all sharing things and letting each other help one another. If you don't want to do that with us, then this might not be right for any of us."
They don't mind is you have your own way, but if you purposefully shut them out when they try to help lessen the load or when they offer things, that's going to cause disrupt for them, and they aren't going to want to always sit with that. You can do things by yourself, you can be independent, but they still want some room to be nice to you. If you don't allow that, it's a deal breaker I think in the end.
You can only be so stubborn with them before stubborn becomes an actual issue and ruins the vibes.
Could slashers jokingly be called "bad boys"? Especially Atlas, heâs just too seductive and teasing (and Iâm sure he knows it)
You could definitely get away with calling either of the slashers a bad boy. But they will react.
Soleil will probably pout and try to deny your words, "You only say that because you don't know all the good that I do! I am not bad at all! You should watch what I do in a day and then you can call me a bad boy if you really think that's true >:( But I am not!!" (He's a brat about it)
Atlas probably smirks and bends down to be more level with you to ask "Oh? I'm a bad boy? Is that so? Well, little Starlight. Please enlighten me as to why that is the case. I've been awfully nice to you. I don't see any reason for you to be judging me like that." He's probably rubbing a knuckle on your cheek or playing with your hair while he stares you down for it. Be ready to fight for you words, or else he will make you eat them. (He's a tease about it)

Depends on when you say it to them in your relationship or how many times you have said it.
If you've never said it or have only said it a few times:
Atlas gently shushes you and tells you to tell him when your head is a little clearer if you still mean it. It's not that he's against saying "I love you" during sex, but if it's your first time saying it or you just haven't said it much, he's not going to take it very seriously. He thinks it's just the overwhelming feelings and hormones getting to you. He'd much rather you say it when you have a clear head. It's kind of like saying "I love you" when you are drunk to him. It doesn't hit the same and it might just be the burst of feelings from the situation. He likes it when he knows you actually mean it.
Soleil just starts fucking you harder. He says it back and nearly weeps. He's so overwhelmed and you said those words to him and he really just might cum on the spot. He doesn't expect you to say them during that time, and he becomes so attached to you and just doesn't want to be away from you. He'll beg you to say it more to make sure you really mean it. He wants you to really mean it. And he's going to take it like you really mean it. He doesn't have a clear head, and he doesn't have the awareness Atlas does of the situation.
If you've said it a lot already or say it pretty regularly:
Atlas will slow down and kind of smile at you while saying it back no matter what he's doing. He'll probably try to find a place to kiss you to reassure you he means it. It's a very soft moment for him during intimacy and he treats it like it should be treated. With care. If he was going hard before, it's a moment of slow and tender. He'll get back to what he was doing, he just needs to show you his appreciation and that he means it too, even if you both are probably way too caught up in the hormones of sex. He at least trusts that you mean it.
Soleil kind of doesn't change much EXCEPT he starts talking to you about it. Saying that he loves you so much, listing the reasons he does, repeating it, finding ways to hold you tighter. Fucking you harder. Adoring you and crying a little and trying not to lose himself. That, or cum on the spot and then get pouty you did that to him. He wasn't ready! You were too nice! Now he has to try again! And yes he loves you so much!
lil silly one but would Atlas and Soleil (any Au) join reader in a self care spa day? just lounging around and maybe those skin care face masks?
Soleil would literally set up a day specifically to have a spa day with you once he hears you like them. He's schedule it and has a full day planned out for everyone and writes out lists for everything they'd need and makes Atlas go out and get supplies while he readies everything at the apartment for it. He probably even orders some fancy stuff online for it.
You come in and they both are already in robes and are a little damp. Soleil tells you that they have already restarted the bath for you with a new surprise in it (whether that be epsom salts, a waiting bath bomb, bubble bath, some bath mixture that Soleil's mom probably uses to relax in) and tells you to go enjoy it and get in your robe waiting for you in the bathroom after!
Once you're done you come out and see Atlas's hair done up in low twin braid buns with Soleil painting on a face mask. Soleil tells you to come relax next to Atlas and he'll do yours next! Depending on the length of you hair, Soleil might ask to do it to keep it out of your face and kept up! You see his hair is being kept back in some insane pigtails with his normal headband in place. He does your hair if applicable and paints on the face mask after washing the spatula with Atlas leaning the side of his head on your shoulder before Atlas switches places with Soleil so he can paint on his mask.
Then, it is calming music picked out by Atlas, low lights, nice candles burning (maybe one is scented, but most are just large unscented candles) and a calming activity. Atlas offers massages if Soleil promises to massage him back if you are comfortable. They offer books if you want to silently read with them, or even just laying in the calm and accepting the energy. If you want, Soleil will do your nails while Atlas talks with you. He's very good at cleaning them up and keeping paint lines nice and crisp. He can't really do many designs besides a French tip. But he likes cleaning your nails up if you don't do it a lot. It's hard for him to do on himself even if he wants to do it really nicely.
Soleil then will wash off everyone's face masks once it's time and will have you all get dressed in comfy clothes for a mandatory comfy meal with a soothing drink and then a nap is planned for you all. No, you cannot skip either. Soleil says so. (Atlas agrees.)
It takes HOURS to get through it all, but it is relaxing and comfy and just what you need if you are stressed (which, with the slasher fic, you are.) They ask if you liked it one it's all done and Soleil will promise to do it again for you if the reviews are high. <3 They would love the calm of a spa day.
I'm basing this off of how I write Vampire Soleil, so maybe not all around typical vampire, but how I imagine vampires.
It probably makes Soleil quite nervous for a long time how sick you look so often. They both always check up on how you are feeling. Eventually, they get used to it, but they can't get over your paleness and how you never seem to really get better. Atlas wonders if it's a chronic illness. You probably tell him it's something like that.
Depending if you feed a lot, somedays you look better, somedays you look worse. They wonder why your eyes look so strange somedays. They ask if you are stressed; you seem like you could break at any moment. You are actually just holding back around them. When you get hungry, they look like meals.
You probably notice how Soleil's heart beats so fast and flutters quickly around you. You notice how his blood pools so often to places when he's flustered. He's tempting in that way. The way that his blood always seems to tease you. Atlas's pulse and blood are pretty normal. You don't worry about yourself around him as much. He's pretty chill if not mischievous. He often wonders why you don't get too close. He teases things like "Don't worry, we won't bite you without warning."
You can't promise him the same.
They honestly just think you are sick and a bit reclusive. They wondered why you were on campus if you only do online classes and then wander around after dark. You say it's the illness, that's all. The sun makes you sick. They accept that and don't really bring it up again. They try to accommodate things for you. And they actually do a pretty good job. They wonder why you don't really eat or get drinks and snacks with them. They hope you don't do it on purpose. You say you eat plenty at home and aren't a big fan on drinks. They offer you a lot of water to stay hydrated. You sip on it to be kind. It does nothing for you.
You might be a little thankful about the crime scenes and always being at them because it's kind of like free meals. Do you feel bad drinking from your dead classmates? Of course. Are you going to say no to a free meal? No absolutely not. You are doing what you can to stay alive. It doesn't make the sprees any less traumatizing though. Sun and Moon kill in ways that are ridiculously violent. Not how you do things at all. It's terrifying, but it's helpful, so what do you do?
They think they sound like the Fae, but in a pretty way. I think they would be big fans of them along with windchimes and rain chains for pretty sounds outside. I think they would be something that make Creature Sun hesitant at first, but he quickly warms up to with the pretty sound. I think both creatures would like a lot of soft sounding instruments, so probably no big bells, just little ones.
I request a sort of âAu Discussionâ of sorts. An au of your au. Because I am odd and my mind wont drop the concept.(My mind is all over the place so pls bear with me)
There is a genre of media that I love and adore! In simple terms i refer to it as âBorrower auâs. If your willing to search it and risk seeing nsfw it is called Micro/Macro. I believe the softer versions are called Giant/Tiny or G/T (i havent looked much into the specifics. i just skim the edges). These have characters that very obviously -as im sure you can guess based off of the name- have extreme hight differences. And specifically, âBorrowersâ originate from a book series that center around a family of three ,that live in the walls of human. The three of which âborrowâ supplies needed to survive.
There have been many movies that expand on this concept. One even being a studio Ghibli production, âThe secret life of Ariettieâ (i def spelled it wrong).
NOW!! Ive gotten my hyperfixation speal out of the way; my curiosity is:
What if Soleil and Atlasâ Yn was a variant of Borrower? A humanoid person that is no taller than a few inches. Whom lives in the walls.
I am unsure how yn met Atlas and Soleil in KYwK (and I shall ask that separately), But I assume that it wouldnt at all the same with y/n being confined to a single space. Would Y/n origonally be hidden in Soleilâs familial home? Or would they be living at the walls of the university? Or simply, a random house that âSun and Moonâ visited during a spree?
*oo now that would be interesting. It would be a whole other story pace!! With all the party goers murdered, the small borrower!yn tried to get out of the house. Only to stumble in the dark and land amist either sun or moons things and end up getting carried off back to their apartment. Dang that raises so much more possibilities!! i might have to just spit all of the possibilities down in a notes tab to get it out of my mind!
oh oh! but one more specific question on the borrower!yn subject!
Would borrower!yn just be killed by Soleil and/or Atlas? if so, Why? (i have many theories but im rambling)
Final note: Borrowers are not normally considered dirty. Only the ones who live outside may seem so very obviously. Borrowers usually have sophisticated outfits and living conditions where they âjerry rigâ things made for larger beings into more manageable items of their needs. i.e a needle as a sword. a fishing hook as a grappling hook. thread as rope, etc.
I actually know of Borrowers from Studio Ghibli's film "The Secret Life of Arrietty"!! I really love that film, it was lovely! I do know of a good amount of Studio Ghibli films, so I at least have that in the bag! I don't really look at much Micro/Macro or Giant/Tiny media, but I know it exists out there. And the concepts of Borrowers is really fun to me!
I feel like Borrower Reader would probably most likely be from Soleil's family home! And the meeting would be completely different! I feel like Soleil would probably see the reader one day and just scream before he got the chance to show Atlas and I think even Atlas would be very confused and not know what to do. You are so small and they think they are both hallucinating. But no, when Atlas gets a hold of you, you are definitely real, and he doesn't know what to do because why are there people so small in your house, Soleil? And Soleil doesn't know what to say to that.
If they were part of the homes of one of the sprees and got caught on one of Sun and Moon's things to bring back home for them to go back into Soleil and Atlas, I think they would be very very surprised to see little you in their things. Atlas probably has to assure Soleil that you are not a bug. But he doesn't know what you are and you probably just witnessed them killing a bunch of people, so probably a rocky start! it would be a whole different type of fic! And very interesting, too!
And no! They would not kill you. I don't think Atlas would have it in him to kill you honestly because you are just so small and helpless and he would honestly feel really bad if he just killed a random innocent not related to anything. Soleil wouldn't do it either because "Attie! They are just a little person! They've never done anything wrong; we can't hurt them!!"
They would probably try to take care of you because, well, what else would they do. They try to talk to you and figure out more about you and show you that (even though they kill people) they are harmless to you! Just don't walk on the floor when they are walking around because they are already giants to normal sized people. You are so tiny it would take nothing for them to accidentally squash you. I think Soleil would work really hard trying to make little clothes for you while Atlas would try to figure out how to cook for someone so tiny. They would probably work on projects to make life in their apartment more livable for you and would let you see that outside their apartment is unfortunately not going to be very good for you to roam around. They might take you places in their pockets to let you see the world around you and let you go on adventures, but at the end of the day, the world is dangerous, they'd prefer you stick around somewhere safe. They can make a safe space for you.

oh wait!
what if borrower!reader first lived in Soleilâs family home. Though all three only interacted briefly, B!Reader chose to stow away with Soleil to University (and maybe a little borrower on borrower strife influenced B!Readers desire). To try and maintain the og storyline? Eh maybe it doesnât.
But during their stowing they break off away from Soleil! Wanting to be close to the university (to learn maybe?) but doesnt want to be a burden to Atlas and Soliel (who maybe live just a bit too far for B!Reader to reasonably walk (by themself) to university.
It would be funny to me if B!Reader was giving a phone (that to them if a HUGE laptop. one of those new folding phones where the screen folds) that they use to text the both of them. And for the first- year? or so Atlas and Soleil thought that B!Reader was still at his parentâs house. Then during a call it becomes very apparent that thats not the case.
(not me just adding a bunch of unnecessary lore to an au of your au.)
ANYWAY!! to cut myself off before i just start writing this~
Would Soleil and/or Atlas get upset when âold habits die hardâ and B!Reader is caught borrowing and burrowing? Say, Theres this bowtie Soleil hadnât used for years, but remembered its pattern and decided to wear it. Only after searching does he find that one of B!Readerâs quilts that they made looks like itâs made of cut up fabric, suspiciously in the same pattern. (Totally isnt made of both of Soleil and Atlasâ old clothing so they get to breathe in their scents. The blanket totally wasnt hidden and tucked under another blanket.)
Also would they first try to put B!Reader in a pet cage? Or a dollhouse? Or just be like some stories where they take a matchbox, sardine can, etc. and fashion a bed and just have it on a night stand top.
if not either of those living options for someone so small, would they let her live in the walls? or in a cabinet? on a shelf somewhere?
edit: oh shit i cut myself off before i said a point!!! Of when B!Reader is in that old roommates house, that said roomate may have been talking about how shes noticed odd things going missing. And hiring a fumigation to âkill off the rat in the wallsâ.
Iâm sure Soleil and Atlas would get pissed hearing that through the phone (through the walls)

I don't think Atlas would get upset if it's just old clothes as long as you don't use any of Soleil's presents to him. Old clothes are free game and if he hasn't worn them long enough that you get your eyes on something, that's his own fault for forgetting about it in his closet. He might tease though once he finds out and brings out the stolen goods repurposed into something you can use. But he feels pretty special that you want to use his stuff. He might "accidentally" forget a few things out sometimes in hopes that you "borrow" it away. He loves it when you take the bait.
Soleil, on the other hand, would get upset. ESPECIALLY his good clothes like his bowties. He loves his collection very much and keeps a minimalistic wardrobe where his bowties are mostly what set each of his outfits aside! (He has a few versions of the same outfit that he wears in different color palettes that he mixes up with his bowties and suspenders! So those bowties are important! (Even if he has like 4 red ones that look pretty similar.)) I think he's be less upset if it was like, night shirts that have worn down, but I think it would be hard to steal a whole shirt, and if he figured out you stole a sock, he would tell you that's unsanitary, even if it's been washed.
I think when they are kids, they put Borrower!Reader inside a box and try to make it really nice with what they have until Soleil can convince his Maman to get him a really nice doll house. But! He wants to come pick it out! It needs to be very specific!! (He's thinking about your size to make sure you'd fit.) Eventually, he and Atlas will make you your own doll house. Atlas does a lot of the woodworking aspects so Soleil doesnât hurt himself but Soleil does a lot of decorating and such with your help picking things out to make it cozy and just for you. When they find small things you might like, they get them for you.
Theyâd probably prefer you not in the walls so probably a shelf would be best to them!
Soleil and Atlas would be fuming themselves if they heard that and then figured out about you. They would be grateful for what they did. They saved you in their minds.
Oh! I think phones are based off something else these days. Because of those pens that double as stylusâ. So if B!Readerâs palm doesnât work, im sure that could!
Oh dang!!! Dang, now I imagine they messed up and though Soleil didnt care for a tie (when they were younger? maybe it was one of the first times they where so bold) but then one day Soleil âtoreâ up his closet looking for that âspecial tieâ he saved for super special events. After the event Borrower!Reader came clean about taking it and butchering it into a blanket.
As they sit alone in the house one day, staring at a wall with tears streaming down their face (not because of Soleil making them cry but being distraught about the mistake itself. ya know?). I dont know why (because of the sake of equality? idk), but they steel themself and decide that they need to be fair. So not only do they cut something of theirs into a few strips and repurpose it for a gift to Soleil. BUT, they also add Atlas to the mix.
For about a week Atlas nor Soleil can find their Borrower!Friend. They arnât in their usual haunts, their âroomâ doesnât look lived in (they cleaned it up and made it look like the dollhouse itâs supposed to be)! B!Reader was hiding in an old bunker of theirs, brooding (and finalizing things.), putting themself in time-out.
Atlas one day tries to put something in his hoodie pocket, only for it to fall through the inside. Only him flipping the hoodie inside out does he see that a long rectangle hole (and few shapes that look like a sewing pattern for a shirt for a mouse đ) has been cut out, just out of view of the pockets.
Only after that, Borrower!Reader appears back in their dollhouse. They are bundled in the blanket made out of Sunâs bowtie. They dont emerge even when picked up. And only when they recognize that both Soleil and Atlasâ hands are in their reach. B!Reader inch worms their way to both their wrists (not letting themself out of the blanket.) and when they pull away there is a friendship bracelet made of three different types of fabrics. Soleilâs tie, Atlasâ hoodie, and B!Readers favorite thing (made of fabric).
B!Reader is wrapped in the blanket made of Soleilâs tie, Wearing a smaller version of Atlasâ Hoodie, and wearing the remaining scraps of their favorite thing (i imagine it being a silk headband or maybe a ribbon now that ties their hair out of their face. Maybe a necklace).

I love that they only want the best for Reader!! Iâm sure if he could, he would make that house thats in the studio Ghibli movie!! With the working plumbing and such!!
Sometimes I wish I was into that dollhouse hobbie, the one i see being sold at Micheals and Hobby Lobby. With the wooden house and the small furniture! I guess they would have to take up that âhobbyâ for their new small friend.
OH DANG!! You know whats a cool imagery!!! A book shelf that looks to just be displaying a miniature collection. But built into the back of the shelf is hallways and stairs leading to each item. (oh dang⊠that makes me wonder where borrowers use the bathroom huh? I gotta read the books and see if thats mentioned. Going Alllllllll the waaaaayyy outside for an outhouse would be SO tedious!!)
Being an âout in the open borrower would be funny. Cause imagine an especially snoopy guest sees a bunch of buttons displayed out and are like âwhat the heck is this?â

Oh that makes sense. Maybe my screens are old. When my fingers get too cold, it doesnât pick up.
But I love your ideas, itâs all very cute (but now I wonder about the outhouse stuff as well and hope you donât have to take an adventure just to go to the bathroom đđ) but itâs fun to think about!! Atlas would be the chillest about figuring out about the holes in bis hoodie and would probably just ask Soleil to sew on a patch for it. Soleil would be distraught about his ties but what can you do! It would be forgiven.
The bookshelf idea is also super fun!! A great way to hide how you get about!
The button collection made me laugh. Poor Soleil trying to keep things tidy but also trying to let borrower!reader have their things out would be a struggle!
