Well, hello Friday the 13th, and hello April. I can’t believe I let 2 weeks sneak past me since I last posted. The last time I posted I had just put in an order for a new set of Plexus products, and I hate that I haven’t been able to get my feet out far enough ahead of me to work them into my routine. I know it sounds like that should be a mindless step toward better health. “Just put them in your pill sorter, and be done with it Ro.” Unfortunately I’m an over-optimizer, and like to make sure that I’m taking things at the best time of day, best dosage, and grouped with supplements that will enhance and not hinder utilization of other supplements. It’s exhausting just thinking about it, but I believe it is necessary. The exact way in which you supplement is up to you. I am strategic and careful, and the down side of that is I’ve only gotten to try my Plexus Edge so far- Which I LOVE btw!!
At the beginning of the month, I began a working at a second job, waiting tables, yet again. I cannot seem to stay away. Well, actually I can’t seem to land a primary job that will pay all my bills, but that isn’t the point. I have always struggled with focus, organization, and staying on task, and in 2014 I was finally diagnosed with Adult ADD- very likely a remnant from my adolescence that went unrecognized. At the time I was diagnosed I began a mild dosage of Adderall. After almost 2 years of taking the Adderall, it had proved to be too hard on my body. My cardio-respiratory fitness had plummeted, and my natural energy levels were non-existent. I had to make the tough decision to come off of the Adderall and deal with my Adult ADD once again.
While it hasn’t been ideal, I reclaimed the strength to make it through a workout, and I almost have my 5K back in check. I still struggle with mental fog and seizure when it comes carrying out tasks that require focus and compartmentalization, and I imagined that starting this second job was going to pose a challenge. How would I juggle a section of tables in a restaurant after juggling 25 sixth graders all day? I knew the entire time that Plexus Edge existed and that my friend Shari on my Plexus upline had let me try it when I first began taking Plexus products over a year ago. It didn’t give me that same wasted feeling as the Adderall had. I ordered a bottle and started taking them the moment I started the second job. I will say without a doubt, the added benefits to my mental stamina and acuity are on target, and they come without cost to my physical fitness.
I take the Edge as needed, because the demands of each day are different. The Edge works when I take it- the way that I want it to. The month of April is demanding a lot from me, and I’m glad I have the Edge to help me tackle not just the mundane but so much more. Next time, I’ll go over my report card for the month of March and how my progress/setbacks will help me set objectives for the rest of April and May. Until next time-
Doing it all for the added PUNCH!
