We are excited to finally reveal the Plotboard - a place where plots are posted by the admins that give characters a chance to get involved in the main plot. This is for characters who are currently struggling with ways to get into it or have no ideas - characters who have already begun discussions with admins about plot should not apply, as we want everyone to have a chance to take their character on a path that gets them involved and developing.
There is a small application for each plot, rather than a first come, first served basis - which means that everyone in the roleplay has until Sunday, May 14th to submit an application of interest for a plot. We strongly - and in fact, prefer - players to plot with others during this week and organise to take a plot with a character/player that you have not plotted much with. The plot itself could be a vehicle for bringing your characters together, and we’d love to see some new relationships and connections stem from these plots.
Mostly importantly, have fun with them! OL has always been a place where plotting and writing is about enjoying yourself and the stories you’re creating with other people. Be bold and daring, go as dark as you want, and don’t be afraid to submit an application that bends or breaks the rules a little bit.
