IDK I was super confused at first and honestly this is just what I think is going on.. But its not like causing an uproar is going to stop people from trying to hack into so and sos cousins instagram anyway, so what can you do?
i'd guess people do this for attention, as new pic leaks get a lot of reblogs/comments/edits. so by taking away those things i would guess it helps remove a tiny bit of the impetus? (tbh tho i don't think simply not reblogging will do anything/stop anyone.)
