With a flaky puff pastry crust, this savory plum tart has the sweetness of ripe plums, the tanginess of feta cheese, and the smell of fresh thyme. It's a tasty starter or light meal that really brings out the flavors of fresh plums.
Ingredients: 1 sheet puff pastry. 4-5 ripe plums, thinly sliced. 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese. 2 tablespoons honey. 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. Put puff pastry on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper and roll it out. Place the plum slices on top of the pastry, leaving some space around the edges. Put small pieces of feta cheese on top of the plums. Spread the honey out on top of the tart. Add salt and pepper to the tart along with the thyme leaves. Put the pie in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the plums are soft. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve.
