“Remind me again how did you manage to get invitations to a party at the Cordonian Embassy?” Hayden adjusts his tie, looking at the elevator mirror.
“One of the guests of honor used to be a client of mine. She dropped by the spa I worked looking for me to get her hair done for today.”
The elevator pings and they step out of the elevator, blending into the crowded rooftop party as he takes two glasses of champagne from a waiter passing by and hands one of them to Natasha. “Who is this client anyway?”
“Her,” she points the champagne flute to an elegant Latin woman posing for photos with a blond good looking man.
“Wha-” he stares wide-eyed at the couple. “Duchess Jade was your client? The future queen of Cordonia?” She nods. “Nat, she is amazing. King Liam and she are one of the most adorable and powerful couples in the world! They’re like relationship goals example.”
“So you ship them?”
“Of course. Don’t you?”
She looks at the Royal Couple and sees the Duchess laughing as the King kisses her temple smiling. “Okay, I’m sold. I know her since she was 21 and she’s happier than ever and he seems to be great. They’re rich, famous and pretty cute together.”
