I don't know what the objective is yet, but I figured having a hint of where I need to go may help. With #pocketlands you pick a cardinal direction, roll a d6 or flip another card, and the corresponding square is the next terrain type you enter. Welp, the first quest seems like more of an errand, really. Step 2 - Define the known region. I put the #pocketlands cards picked for Worivat back out on the table and planned to expand the known starting area. There are mountains to the NE, so it made sense that the monk could have taken a hike to see a few cards away. Without specifying the scale of each square, I arbitrarily chose to go two cards out in all directions. Thanks to Watabou's Medieval City Generator, we will be starting in the minor port of Worivat. I only refreshed the generator until a harbor roughly similar to the chosen #pocketlands card popped up. Played with the color scheme and lines a bit for legibility, but I liked the name and layout right away. I'm going to interpret the scale as meters instead of miles to envision how clandestine an operation Worivat truly is. Instead of six piers, I see six extend loading docks for rapid exchange of cargo on a single ship. There is probably only one real house for the Harbormaster with shanties for the dockhands. So here's the deal: 16 hours have passed since Hainanju hid Hobue's corpse on a farm to raise funds for a resurrection spell. I'm using a background "clock" with the Bestiary deck by @alexeyaparin to see if Hobue was found each hour. If three cards of the same suit are flipped in a row, I'll ask the #mythicgme oracle if Hobue was found, starting with 50/50 odds and getting more likely as time goes on.
