The Screaming Skull is a horror story by American writer Francis Marion Crawford (1854-1909), originally published in the July 11, 1908 issue of Collier magazine and later re-edited in the 1911 anthology: Uncanny Tales. We are undoubtedly before one of F. Marion Crawford's great horror stories. The plot tells the story of a murder and a mysterious skull that refuses to remain silent. Narrated in a single voice, the descriptions of the possible slitting of the victims' throats by the bony teeth of this skull are particularly terrifying scenes.
