Morna

1.) Something they try to hide? Something they like to show?

I'd say that in early PoE1, Morna was overly cordial yet a bit guarded with most people she talked to. Aside from Calisca, she didn't initially state her reasons for coming to Gilded Vale to her companions until they got more comfortable with each other. It's less of a secret and more just something she was embarrassed/ashamed of what happened to her shop. I'd say that by Act 2/White March Part 1, Morna openly talks about it during campfire talks, with Edér and Aloth being the first two companions she admits it to, by virtue of them having traveled with her the longest.

As for something Morna likes to show, it's her jewelry! She's particular about her earrings and brooches. Morna used to wear wayyyy more jewelry back in her merchant days, but most of those were also stolen before the events of the game… 💔

Compared to Virgil, absolutely. Rí'an grew up with very theatrical parents, herself doing some theatre work at some point in her 200 years of life. While Virgil can sometimes put out a good bluster when need be (like at the Crash Site at the start of the game), Rí'an is a smoother talker. It comes with having a persuasion/charisma build~
