"Invitation" There was a time or two, when I was invited to Love. To hold. To kiss. To nurture. Till the end of forever. I was INVITED. To Love. To hold. To kiss. To nurture. Till the end of forever. Wrapped in black and blues. Buried in untrue truths. Bounded by broken yestetdays. Founded mine field pathways. I. Was. Invited to Love. To hold. To kiss. To nurture. Till the end of forever. Never Loved. Only wanted. Never understood. Only stunted. Never given. Only grunted. I. Was. Invited to Love. To hold. To kiss. To nurture. Till the end of forever. An invititation from God. Or so I thought. A chance to give and receive. Or so I sought. In reality. A chance to be broken. Again. And so I fought. I. Was. Invited to Love. To hold. To kiss. To nurture. Till the end of forever. Or not. Like a man on his knees. A woman full of pleas. A bride without a groom. A home without a room. I waited ALL my life. To be. Invited to Love. To hold. To kiss. Better Run Little One

Climbing the peaks for freedom and sight

Gaze into a sunset until it becomes night

Darkness sets in as I turn to head home

Sensing something behind me, I am not alone

A breeze rustles the leaves and trails begin to blend

My heart starts to race, while I panic for an end

Better run little one, stories are more real than you think

Everything is alive with endless rivers to drink

With berries to eat and plants to heal

Fungi allows us to see what others can feel

Better run little one if you are afraid to be free
