Toxic Liquid
Today i’m feeling something not so sweet
Something bubbly
But not too bubbly
I’m only going to drink a few
Just going to relax
A few go down and i’m finally starting to feel confident
Confident enough to almost,
Almost feel comfortable in my own skin
So i drink another
I’m feeling light
I’m almost feeling pretty
Drink another sip
Woah,
Another one empty
I sit there,
Empty handed
I look around,
I feel like i can almost belong somewhere
I grab another
It glides down my throat,
No objection
I’m feeling good
I feel light and happy
Who cares if i can belong,
Or do
I am me
I am good as i am
I tip back another one
The pain from the past is there,
Bearable and ever so present
Tip it back some more
No i don’t want to remember that
No i don’t want to feel that
Drink some more,
It’ll all go away
Find that happy medium
It’s there, i swear it is
More liquid gold glides down my throat
Tip toeing on the darkness
It’s there,
Acknowledge it
But don’t succumb to it
Just a little more

And singing

Smiles everywhere
Everyone is where they belong
You look down
Your hand shakes
You look around
Get a hold of yourself

You find it harder and harder to believe in your own smile
It starts to fade
Tip back some more
The darkness is there

A mac truck
Demolishing everything in it’s wake

Letting yourself subside

A florescent blue blinding you
