Emotional Conflict

Driven by the emotions of the past Looking for answers to keep my feet moving Lost in the sea of words Chocking on darkness so thick and tangible it blinds How can I see the light

You show your heart to the world only to be crushed The number of years you have survived Lost in the waves of spring Brushing away the chills of winter Do you see the light

Phantoms drunk on confusion Drowning in there own self pity She lost her right to get closer The lies were to much Does she see the darkness in her own heart

Doing the right thing Seeing the wrong thing and doing nothing to stop What makes the world feel so cold Is there any light left Black and white Light and dark Driven by emotions to dark to understand To many waves Is this enough

I enter this in a poetry contest. In worried its not good enough, or good at all.
