Had Odysseus been smarter, he would've perhaps asked Hades to help him evade Poseidon. I mean, Hades was surely annoyed. Poor guy had 500 new arrivals to deal with all because of his brother's little tantrum.

Idk who needs to hear this, but please make meme edits of/ with your OCs.
Create your own versions of those threads that have funny text messages or twitter posts with characters edited onto them. You don’t have to post this anywhere, just keep it for yourself to laugh at because you think they’re funny and you can yell “that’s so true and accurate!”
Sometimes you just have to be your own fandom.

everyone has the right to bully the shit out of the canonically most powerful physical being in the series
some of you might even get away with it.
Repeat after me: we are fans not friends

Okay serious time. I have some serious, actual takes on the penalties.
First, subbing off senior, composed players like Hendo to put on Sancho is a joke. I get you’re putting him on because he’s a good goal scorer but young players like that are not used to that kind of pressure and are more likely to fall apart. Putting them on right before penalties just to take a pen puts so much more pressure on them to score than if you put them on like five minutes before and let them actually kick the ball around a little. Instead, their first touch of the football is when they take the pen. It’s cruel and stressful. Both Sancho and Rashford are great players who can score penalties. we’ve seen Rashford score in the UEL final under pressure but the extra pressure of this situation was seemingly overwhelming for him. Someone like Henderson with about a decade more experience is more likely to keep his cool and stay focused. So poor management from Gareth there I think.
Second, you have Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish, even John Fucking Stones on the pitch and you make Saka, nineteen-year-old saka take the final penalty. The penalty with the most pressure, the one the decides the game. Of fucking course he doesn’t score it! You can’t expect him to in that situation!! Bull-fucking-shit Gareth. He’s a child.
I think Italy won because their penalty takers were more confident and composed.
That is all.
