the time I've spent looking for it, organizing all my files in hopes of it magically appearing, I could've spent writing it from the start.

but I don't want to rewrite it. I want coffee. I can't have coffee (I'm trying to stop being addicted to caffeine).

There are times that I wonder if Cybird/Ikevamp translators do any grammatical editing... There are times when I’m reading the routes/epilogues that there are grammatical errors in it... I write so much that noticing these little minor errors just hits me hard for some reason...

Guess who still has to work tonight even though Florida has a curfew in place? Turns out because I work for a cleaning company I’m legally exempt from it because I’m considered essential personal. At least we only have one place but it is a pediatric clinic that tends to stay open past it’s close time and has been especially late as of recently for obvious reasons

I think I’m the only vegan that like...doesn’t eat/like/can’t eat avocado. And it’s annoying when every recipe is like AND THEN ADD A GIANT FUCKING AVOCADO FOR NO REASON ON TOP!

this year's Freshers Flu(TM) has finally caught up with me, I'm honestly only surprised it took this long because all the other PhDs in my office, basically all the academic staff, and a bunch of the the undergrads I tutor have been sick in various combinations since the beginning of the semester so I was 100% expecting to get the thing too

....however it's not great timing as this weekend I'm away and I've got tickets for this debate festival thing, which is always super interesting and I've been looking forward to for months

I went to one day of it today and started feeling ill around noon, and now I'm thinking I might have to skip tomorrow :((( I think I have a fever right now and generally feel like I'm Dying. Also though, either way I have to travel back home on the train tomorrow and give a tutorial on Monday morning (I highly doubt I can find anyone to cover it at such short notice)

so that'll be fun I guess, while I've mostly lost my entire voice and also feel like warm garbage :(

Silly grumpy Pokémon movie Tumblr pet peeve: that one post with the alternate names for all the Pokémon movies is amusing, but “Lord of the Rings x Star Wars: The Movie” is pretty much definitely the worst one, and yet I see people having taken it up and going “oh, yeah, the eighth movie is basically Lord of the Rings x Star Wars”. I mean, no, actually, it’s really not? I guess the eighth movie is soooort of like Lord of the Rings in that it’s got a medieval fantasy setting and a big battle in it, and kiiiind of like Star Wars in that it’s got “knights” who can use a mystical force, but that’s pretty much where the similarities begin and end, and that’s only a description of literally the first ten minutes of the movie, after which we move on to the modern day where there are no large-scale battles and exactly one “knight” who is really just ‘a Pokémon’. I don’t blame the OP at all, mind - it’s a joke post, and I would also have a hard time coming up with a pithy description on the level of “Ash Dies: The Movie” or “Rayquaza is Pissed: The Movie”. But the people acting like it’s an accurate description kind of baffle me.
