I really want a scene this season where Guillermo and Nandor get into a fight about something other than the secret, and have a moment where Guillermo grabs his cross to ward Nandor off, and just painfully burns his hand on it right in front of him. Can you imagine the shock?

A Short Moment of Speculating My Way Into High Hopes

Sadly, I didn’t get a screenshot of Ben’s website before he changed it, back when it said he had something really cool to announce soon on the homepage (or maybe I did and can’t find it). The homepage now says this: 

But I wanted to speculate for a moment, because I also find this a bit promising... because what I’m hoping the really cool thing is going to be is that he and Larry got a second actual feature approved for production. I remember in several of their Bill interviews that they said they’d like to do more features/had several ideas in the works. Do I possibly have my hopes too high? Well, I have a tendency to do that sometimes. But why say you have several features in development if what you actually mean is you have several half-finished scripts that aren’t going anywhere in a drawer somewhere, eh? And anyway, I’d still be happy if the announcement was that Ghosts got picked up for a fourth series. But I’d really like a second Ben and Larry movie. Thoughts, friends?

The Dean Cave (which really? are we not gonna use that as innuendo? okay then!) seems another beautiful example of nesting Dean, homemaker Dean. I’d love to know if by this point Sam has come to consider the bunker as home yet -- my instincts say no.

English is a wonderful language, it has much more words than Italian and I love that, still it will forever sadden me that it has no one-word equivalent to the Italian “rosicare” (that i know of at least). “Rosicare” means to gnaw like a rodent, but also (informally) to envy with a passion and it is beautiful, because in that meaning the term perfectly embodies the action of petulant, petty, envy: there like a goddamn rat and eroding away at a part of your thoughts, both dangerous and pathetic.

The other two Commander 2017 tribes are likely vampires (Sorin’s W/B/R dad there is totally an open book...) and ...Wizards maybe?

That last one is definitely more ambiguous, but someone on reddit said that someone somewhere on the internet said this is U/B/R wizards. ...clearly reliable information :P :b

Anyway, so these are two of the four revolving images that have recently appeared atop the set page for Commander 2017 on Wizards’ site. The other two are Ur Dragon and Worldcat, so it’s easy to assume these are the two main generals of the other tribal decks.

BUT who knows, still can’t rule out that one or both of these are just cards in the decks rather than the main generals.

I’m pretty disappointed about vampires, since they are a tribe that already has handfuls of multicoloured generals available to choose from as well as sanguine dumpsterloads of non-legendary tribal support to put in their decks. Though i suppose they might not have a general that specifically does tribal stuff... But ehhhh, vampires are and always have been super boring. They’re elves with pointy teeth instead of pointy ears. Bah humbug. Personal opinion mind you. I’m sure Sorin fans will love Daddy Markov ;) That art is awesome in any case!

The mystery of the last one will remain for now. Wizard is as good as guess as any really... but i wouldn’t bet on it. The art absolutely screams “Nightingales from Skyrim” to me, and it looks very Rogue-y. It’s also possible that unlike the others, she’s a tribal general who doesn’t share the tribe she supports. She could be a cleric who does stuff with demons at the helm of a deck full of demons, for example. We know they’re not adhering strictly to everyone in the decks being of the tribe, as Taigam in the dragon deck shows.

I like to think she’s a sphinx’s disciple. ... ...but seeing sphinx tribal is getting further from conceivability, sadly ;_; As a figurehead general made specifically for and representing a tribal deck, if that’s indeed what she is, it seems unlikely to me that they wouldn’t put the creature she’s supporting in the background of her art. So while it’s not certain i personally think it’s likely she will be whatever the tribe is. And it can’t be humans, so that leaves her occupational tribe...

Bryan still coming after Eddie, Will saying to Eddie ‘I owe you one’ at battle in the valley and Bryan and Will being on the same card on Feb 11th is not a coincidence. I thought we were headed for Will vs Bryan singles at revolution but maybe you do Claudio and Bryan vs Will and Eddie or Mox and Bryan vs Will and Eddie since Mox wants a piece of Will too.

Unpopular opinion but I don’t wanna just run back Bryan vs Eddie at revolution I want Bryan to face some people he hasn’t before.

(I suppose another possibility is if Okada does actually join aew (and right before revolution) you do bryan and okada vs Will and Eddie)

Flamethrower Skulls are environmental hazards that are located in mountainous areas and/or ruins. They can be found in Red Mountain (SA1), Aquatic Mine, Sky Rail, and Pumpkin Hill (SA2). They appear to be made with both metal and stone.

In SA1, Red Mountain features machinery and man made objects to help traverse the mountain. In volcano area is a prison, and many graves. In SA2, Pumpkin Hill and Sky Rail take place in the same mountainous region, featuring a lot of similar man made objects, traces of mountain top settlements, and more graves. Aquatic Mine is an abandon mine, having similar design features to Pumpkin Hill and Sky Rail’s machinery and structures. A lot of people have clearly died in that mine, and not always in ways that would suggest regular mining accidents. It seems that whenever you find these skulls, you find a lot of relatively recent activity of torture and death...

Has anyone else ever wondered what a manticore accent might sound like? By which I mean the effect having multiple (traditionally, three) rows of teeth would have on speech sounds. Or is that just me?
