☁- Our muses in a thunderstorm.
And so that was how it had started, the subtle brilliance of what was once the beginning and now had receded to the ending. The Hatter — or if that was the mask he adorned that evening — found himself wandering almost aimlessly then. Silently paced footsteps that simply contrasted with every step that he had made in amidst his walk then. The male turned, adjusting the umbrella as it now lingered upon the base of his shoulder, rain cascading in it’s eventful fall from the bright surface.
For there was always a bright contrast in comparison to the mad man; for yellows and blues christened every inch instead of blacks and greys that streaked the darker man’s form. Dongwoo paused, before taking another step. Boots that splashed int he water before he paused to turn at the drenching world. How tedious yet entirely predictable or so it was to say. Wandering off before stopping near the nearest book store, his umbrella was later closed, shook out in the air next to him before he disappeared into the vicinity of the store.
In moments as he had settled his umbrella and folded the surface of the spear like object with his hands. The plastic material shook between pale digits before his loafers caressed the carpeting of the floor. Though individuals were minimal within the store in question, for it was obvious that many lacked the desire to purchase books in such a criteria, the Hatter wandered almost aimlessly before --
Lightning flashed ridiculously upon the outside world, perhaps hitting a powerline in sequence. Silence that fell upon the building as -- the lights had disappeared. The obvious detail in it being that the orange emergency lights had begun to glow faintly in the small room.
"Hmm -- how peculiar." Words that fell from his thoughts as the blindsided male wandered and slammed his torso and visage into that of a shelf. The soft thud that echoed in his own ears as he stepped back; a single hand outstretched before finding a shoulder. Eyes hidden as he closed them and squished her shoulder. "Excuse me--" Nose blocked and face scrunched he asked in a rather nasal tone. "I think I may need a tissue, do you have one?"
