@poisonhemloc
Oh my gosh, you reminded me of one of my favorite pictures
Completely random Armored Hearts question for you. How much of the support staff around the base are part of Ibarra's polycule? Most of them? The staff for squad B specifically? Other squad's pilots and/or handlers? (I'm mostly just curious because it's a big base but also, none of the other pilots/handlers sounds like either coincidence or someone in the polycule (not necessarily Ibarra) is keeping them out on purpose.)(I know Clark has joined orgies for snacks but. not actually in)
Ibarra's current 8 polycule members are support staff, mostly mechanics.
He's not opposed to getting romantically and sexually involved with other pilots, but the current pilots on base just are just the type of people who don't want to juggle that many lovers. It can be a little more stressful to date a fellow pilot though, given the increased chance of death compared to ground crew.
A pilot fucking a different pilot's handler gets.... very messy...
I think Temir would strangle Ibarra if he hit on Kergat.
I have many questions about Kichiro (sorry). Did he know about Genichiro before he came back to Ashina? How do they get along? How's he doing once Kuro is in Ashina castle, especially with Genichiro threatening Kuro and Wolf apparently dead? Did he know Wolf was "killed" at Hirata? Did he know Owl was "killed" at Hirata? How'd he react when Wolf and then Owl both showed up alive, or was he out of commission by the time Owl came back?
no need to apologise at all, i love talking about my ocs so the more the merrier! i'm really glad you like kichiro, i saw the tags on your rb while i was out today and they made me super happy ^^
i hope these answers are satisfactory, please feel free to ask more if you want because i'm always eager to infodump oc lore >:)
Did he know about Genichiro before he came back to Ashina? yes! he heard about isshin adopting genichiro around when it happened and it made him feel a bit better about not going back to ashina because now he knew isshin wasn't "alone" anymore.

Question, is the Hanbei's story manga counted as canon? If it is not, headcanon is good (it's good anyway) but if the manga counts this is canon contradicting
@poisonhemloc I know there is a bit of outside information about these games, like interviews or comics, but as only one person, who also lives in Europe and never gets to see like 90 % of that stuff, I decided that my blog only follows the hard canon that is in game. I would treat everything that is outside of the game a soft canon. Totally valid when it gets used, but not canon contradicting.
@poisonhemloc this is a response to your post as to why Wolf refuses to help Kuro destroy the Heritage the first time, which I cannot reblog right now because Tumblr mobile is stupid and won't let me include the readmore to hide the spoilers.
So, here is the deal. Have you happened to try and pick both options? Because I have, in two different playthroughs, and the result is refusal for both. The interesting part if that, if you pick the option to agree the first time, Wolf thinks to himself and clarifies the exact reason why he refuses: his father, and the Iron Code, prevent him from obeying.
The reason why Wolf refuses isn't that he doubtlessly expects bad things to happen or has any idea of what it will entail; the reason is that his father gave him the specific task to be a bodyguard and protect him, and what he does not want to do is disobey him. His father being the key.
Owl spells out very clearly in the Iron Code that the father is absolute and the master is a close second. What Kuro asks of him is a direct deviation from what his father ordered him to do; and Wolf's respect of that rule is so strong that, even as his father is dead to his knowledge, he still obeys it.
But in the end, just like he inevitably refuses the first time, he accepts on the second, because Kuro pleads him to and he chooses to be at his side.
Why is it so important to specify all of this? Because of the prominence of Owl in his refusal, making this scene a pivotal moment of Wolf's character evolution. In the theme we have often discussed of Wolf regaining agency and freedom because of Kuro, this is the first step: the first time he openly disobeys the Iron Code, and begins to choose his own path.

For the headcanon meme, Artorias and ☆, ☯, and ൠ?
Headcanon Meme
☆ - happy headcanon
Artorias is the happiest of the four knights of Gwyn. He can see a lot of positivity in the little things of life. Petting a cute puppy, seeing a kitten in the street, baking cookies, seeing how someone enjoys them, making Ornstein smile etc. etc.
☯ - likes/dislikes headcanon
I don’t think Artorias really dislikes anything. He has such a bright outlook on everything. Well, I think what he dislikes would be people who are cruel and mean to others for no reasons, so I guess he doesn’t like bullies. What he likes? Animals, especially dogs and wolves (that is why he chose to be the wolf knight). He actually often picks up stray animals from the street and hides them in his room, until Ornstein finds them and the has to organize another home for them. ൠ - random headcanon Artorias has the most beautiful handwriting you have ever seen. He also is the only one who can read Ornstein’s handwriting, which is chicken scratch.
