Dream Ball: Dream Pokémon TeamTBH I’ve been trying to work on a mono-ghost team for like a year. One day I’ll finish it. I’m so indecisive about it because every ghost pokemon is so valid and precious.

Great Lure

Great: Favorite Pokemon game?

Soul Silver came to mind first. Walking around with a Sentret behind me… it just can’t be beat but Pearl, Sun, and X are rly good too!

Lure: What introduced you to Pokemon?

I like to call myself “born a PokeNerd”. My first introduction to it was that my grandmother gave me a Pikachu plush as my first soft toy the day I had been born because in the weeks prior to my birth, she had won some Pokemon merchandise at Movie World??? 

but my more official introduction to it was when my older cousin was babysitting me at his parents’ house and he was like “Emily! you’ve got a Pikachu and you don’t even know what it is” and sat me down in front of the television and put the first 3 episodes of the Pokemon anime on and I watched the entire video tape like three times that same day :’)

Ultra: If you've captured a shiny, what was your first shiny?

My first shiny was a Mightyena! I found it in Pokémon X (yes... I had terrible luck in every previous generation no matter how many hours I played) while looking for Pumpkaboo. He’s a very good boy and was quickly followed by a Ditto in the same game!

Master: What's your favorite legendary?

Giratina has a special place in my heart due to me being a Platinum baby, and (maybe it’s still the S/M hype that never died for me) I really like the Tapu trio!

Park: If you could own any Pokemon, which one would you want and why?

As a gay who can’t drive and hates buses with a passion I think it would be really cool to just. go to uni on a Metagross. They’re kinda scary looking if you don’t know them but they like cuddles and pastries as much as everyone else!

Nest Ball: Favorite Region

yeah, i know, cue the nostalgia wank, it’s kanto. sure, as the series progresses the new features added are great, but as a SETTING... the places, the characters... i still just have a soft spot for them. only alola and kalos have come close in those regards for me.

Quick Ball: Luckiest Pokémon memory

in leafgreen version, as i am reliving my childhood with better graphics, wandering along the safari zone, what should appear but a shiny paras. this was the first(and to date, only) random shiny i have ever encountered, AND paras is my favorite pokémon. i am sweating bullets, agonizing over the proper number of rocks and bait to toss before letting fly a safari ball... and i catch him. it was a good day.

Park Ball: Worst Pokémon memoryWhitney and her god MilktankIn all seriousness, though, I don’t have an awful Pokemon memory, but losing to Cynthia in Platinum over and over and over again really stung, especially because I realized that having an overleveled Infernape was not going to get me the championship as it had done in games past so I grinded the rest of my team to manageable levels and finally got through the Elite Four with a manageable team- even though she did get me down to my last poke even with that.Luxury Ball: If Pokémon were real, would you travel alone or with friendsI would travel alone!  It’d be awesome to see the world with Pokemon if they were real

Love Ball: Favorite PokémonI love Luxray, it’s my favorite Pokemon b/c it’s so cool in it’s design!Quick Ball: Luckiest Pokémon memoryIn Black 2, i Was going to train a joltik.  I caught one, and was training it in chargestone cave when I came across another Joltik, except this one didn’t look right.  For one thing, its color seemed off and for another I didn’t remember N having a Joltik or Galvantula in Black and White, so I did the smart thing and decided to catch it.  The Joltik I had encountered was shiny and I immediately put it on my team after seeing the star marked in its summary.Dusk Ball: Unluckiest Pokémon memoryGood lord, the trouble I went through to catch a Tyranitar in the Safari in HG/Soulsilver.  It took me two hours, alot of frustration, and I ended up giving it to my brother to go brush my teeth and eat something and he actually caught the thing.Dream Ball: Dream Pokémon TeamTyrantrumPrimarinaArcanineLuxrayBisharpVenusaur
