I've been watching the Pokemon Sun and Moon anime since it's currently on Tubi. When it aired originally, I dropped it after the first season because I couldn't get with how different it was from Pokemon XY/XY&Z. Art style, not continuously traveling, the humor...

Now...it's not as bad as it was for me back in 2016/2017. The humor can be too forced at times, especially the exaggerated faces (it makes me hate Samson Oak's Pokemon puns). I still wish Ash traveled throughout the islands each episode like on a journey, but I can kind of see how pacing could become an issue, even with the Ultra games giving Alola more content.

About me!

Hi there! My name's Acey! I made a blog for my sonic au awhile back so I thought it would be fun to make one for my pokemon ultra eclipse au as well! The main plot is focused on the sun and moon cast, specifically focusing around the ultra guardians, as well as adding Gladion and Ilima as new members. There are also several new ultra beasts added for them to face, including many that show up in other regions.

The au picks up as a direct continuation to pokemon sun and moon, but contains numerous retcons and changes to canon. (Ex. Red and Leaf being Ash's older siblings, Magearna stuff not happening due to me sadly being unable to fit it into the au due to the plot already being too complicated, ultra guardians now being kept secret from the public, etc.) Many other characters will appear and play major roles in the story, especially Brock and Misty!

A Quick Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC Headcanon

SPOILERS AHEAD!!

After the events of The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk, Kieran believed that his actions were so severe, that he felt as if he could never be allowed at Blueberry Academy again. So he asked Director Cyrano for a permanent expulsion so he could live in regret for the rest of his life and try to atone for his actions.

Director Cyrano gave him a 1 week suspension anyway. Not that Kieran wanted to be expelled or not, but he felt like he deserved it.

On Loam (the Pokémon world), the only required years of traditional school are completed between the ages of 5 and 10. These are the years when children learn the most basic skills of reading and writing. Many people believe that the most important skills come from experience. This is why there are no major educational concerns on children leaving home and missing years of school to go on Pokémon Journeys. Even so, a student can continue in traditional school for as long as they like.

While there are no major educational concerns around Pokémon Journeys, there may be other concerns. After all, many modern parents aren't comfortable letting their 10-year-olds travel by themselves.
