Disclaimer: This post was made in July, 2026, so my pricing will be based on the current market prices and sellers. Even so, my advice will likely stay the same, even if the prices stated might increase in the future. I’m making this list for anyone, like myself, that loves Pokemon Horizons, but has been STRUGGLING to locate all these cards for a Horizons Binder. Good luck<33

Terapagos & Friends: Jumbo Promo Card; Found in the Grand Adventure Collection box from 2024

(Quick Tip: If you only want this specific card, then it’s only listed as $5 in most sellers. However, if you want the whole box, it’s easiest to find the unopened box on TCGPlayer. As of writing this, the entire box is around $40, but includes this jumbo, Liko and Roy’s stamped cards, and 4 card packs. This will save you the trouble of searching for Liko and Roy’s cards (each of these are around $3-5), but it’s more costly.)

Sprigatito #191 SV Promo: Found in the Grand Adventure Collection box; Also, listed as 191 SVP; Part of the Stamped Promos for Scarlet Violet

(Quick Tip #2: If you looking for Liko, Roy, and Dot’s cards from Gem Pack 1, I’d suggest looking for a bundle of all 3 cards bc they’re typically around $70, which will be cheaper than buying the cards from separate sellers, especially when you factor in the cost of shipping.

Fuecoco #309: Listed as 0309/09 CBB1C or CBB1C-03 09/09; Currently, lists about $20-30 on Ebay

Quaxly #509: Listed as 0509/09 CBB1C or CBB1C-05 09/09; $25-30 on Ebay, but be aware that this price has been fluctuating more than the others. It’s usually around $18-20, or that’s been the price since I’d begun this venture about 3 months ago. Once again, if you can, I’ll suggest to buy a bundle of these 3 cards. It’ll be around $60-70 bc it’s probably the best way to avoid price gauging.

Captain Pikachu CBB1C Set: A set of 6 cards from the Chinese Gem Pack 1; Each card features the same art of Cap and Friede w/ the Pokemon Horizons Stamp, but there’s 7 holo variants. In order, there’s the Energy Symbol Holo, Poke Ball, Stars, Starlight Holo, Rotary Holo, Master Ball, and the Gem Pack Logo. Listed as Captain Pikachu #701-705 and #707 or CBB1C 0701/09-0705/09 and 0707/09

(Quick Tip #3: If you’re a major Captain Pikachu and Friede fan that wants all the variants, find a bundle of the complete sets of Captain Pikachu from Gem Pack 1 and 5. It’ll be around $30, which is definitely cheaper than buying the sets separately for $15-20 each before shipping. If you’re not Cap and Friede fanatic, pick your fav from each set to buy solo!)

Captain Pikachu CBB5C Set: Same as the last case, there’s 6 cards in this set. Again, there’s 5 different types of holos and one stamped card with the Gem Pack logo. They’ll be listed as Captain Pikachu #101-106, CBB5C 0101/07-0106/07. (If you want the entire set, please refer to my Quick Tip #3!!)

Captain Pikachu #709: Bro, this is $300 card. Just to be real with you, you don’t need this card for your collection. I love Friede and Cap so much, but I can’t bother to justify this price for myself, let alone anyone else. You’d get a better deal from buying the Gem Pack 1 Booster Box from a vendor at a local card show for $80. You’ll get 18 packs in the box, which you’ll get the joy of opening and the further joy of collecting all the other sparkly cards of the set. If you have the funds to burn tho, it’ll be listed as Captain Pikachu CBB1C 0709/09.

Alain Relationship Headcanons.

alain, alain... i hate french people, but ig he gets a pass because his pokemon are sick!! sorry for the delay of this request, procrastination gets the best of me

alain isn’t the type to wear his heart on his sleeve. he’s reserved, almost to a fault (dangerously nonchalant 😔🙏) and it takes time to understand how he shows affection. he’s not one for grand declarations, but his loyalty and quiet care speak volumes. you might not get a lot of words from him, but his actions leave no room for doubt.

alain would never confess first–not because he doesn't care, but because he's too cautious. (also because he doesn't know how he would talk to you about this, considering he's still young and doesn't want to look like a fool infront of you) you guys have a great friendship already, why ruin it with all that mushy stuff? even if it's obvious you like him back, he's not quick to make assumptions and sees this as your 'friendly gestures,' which definitely killed you as he ignored all your signs BLINDLY. so realistically you would have to confess first.

when you confess to him, he just zones out trying to process what you said. almost like he didn't believe that you liked him back. It would go something along the lines of this.

you weren't planning on confessing, and especially not today. it just slipped out of your mouth while you guys were hanging out. “i think i’m in love with you,”

alain blinked, turning to look at you like you’d just spoken gibberish. “what did you just say to me?” he heard it loud and clear, he just didn't understand why you said that.

“nothing!”

“...you’re terrible at lying.” (he likes you back)

for him, actions speak louder than words. that's why his love language is 100% acts of service. he’s not great at expressing his feelings, but he’ll go out of his way to do it for you. need help with something? already done. forgot your umbrella? he’s there with one even before it started getting cloudy.

alain is okay with pda, as long as its not excessive or like frequent. holding hands? sure, why not. hugs? yup! kiss? sure, but only on the cheek.

he’s very observant and notices things about you that even you might overlook. if you’re stressed or upset, he’ll pick up on it right away, even if you’re trying to hide it.

alain can be quite protective, but not the point of being overbearing. he trusts that you can handle yourself, but if ever someone tries to mess with you, they're going to face alains charizard!!

arguments with him are rare, but when they happen, they’re intense. he’s not the type to yell or lose his temper, but his stubbornness can make things drag out longer than they need to. he hates conflict, so he’ll sometimes shut down instead of addressing the issue right away. it’s frustrating, but once he’s had time to think, he’ll come back to make up.

dates with alain aren’t traditional, and honestly, they might not even feel like dates at first. like a walk through the streets of lumiose city or spending time at a Pokémon Center while Charizard gets checked up. it’s less about the activity and more about being with you in a way that feels natural to him. he tries his best though!!

he's not that romantic let me make that clear, but his silliness is somehow charming in a way. he does hilarious things without noticing, and he'd just stare at you confused on what you're laughing about. he's the type of guy who would give you flowers randomly and then say "it was on sale..."

one time, you walked in on him mid-rant about how the weather was today, and charizard was just sitting there nodding like it understood. when he noticed you, he got all defensive: “what? it’s not weird.” yeah, okay, whatever you say alain...

rating time!! 8/10 he's actually really fun to be around despite his cold demeanor and nonchalant dread head energy, he's dependable and genuinely cares for your well being, but his communication skills are through the floor because its almost non–existent! goodluck showing him to your parents...

this guy was ass, and i hated him in the anime! the only thing enjoyable about him was the fact that i liked his roselia!! his thing with may was also funny to watch, but he's yk he's drew... i wrote these as headcanons, but since i barely know what this guy does (i suck at remembering) i made a scenario with 'em at the end!

hmm, when thinking of drew he'd be pretty sassy and smug. when drew first spots you snapping photos of wild pokémon, his first thought is something like, “does this guy think he’s going to catch their best side?” he’s a bit smug, assuming you’re just another weirdo or somebody who only cares about fame. but when he notices the concentration in your eyes and the careful way you frame each shot, he starts rethinking things.

as he watches you photograph pokémon with genuine focus, he can’t help but be a little intrigued. drew thinks, “alright, maybe he actually knows what he’s doing.” this little realization sticks with him, and he becomes curious about what you see through the lens that makes you so passionate. he'll probably introduce himself in a weird way, like it sounds mean even though it's not. he'll even do a hair flip.

someone who does not wish to follow their dreams, or isn't confident in their talent is not worth his time. drew prides himself on his aesthetic sense, so when he sees your photos, he’s secretly impressed. “he captured roselia’s petals perfectly,” he thinks, starting to admire your talent. seeing how passionate you're to your hobby, that's probably what made him soften up to you and then start liking you.

drew will join you on your photo excursions, claiming he just wants a break from the contest scene. but it’s obvious he enjoys seeing your enthusiasm for photography. he’ll occasionally even point out great spots for capturing pokémon, trying to act like it’s no big deal.

when he’s practicing with roselia or flygon, you can’t resist snapping some shots. drew pretends he doesn’t notice, but he always tosses his hair or makes sure roselia is angled perfectly. your camera makes him feel like a celebrity, and though he’d never admit it, he loves it. this slowly grows into a habit, and drew starts standing around a little longer whenever you’re nearby with your camera, pretending he’s just hanging out. but he always makes sure to pose just right when his pokemon are with him, making it easy for you to take amazing shots. he’d deny it if you ever asked, though.

you have a few shots of drew when he’s genuinely smiling—no arrogance, no pretense. those moments are rare and precious, and drew will give a soft, appreciative smile when he sees them. It’s a reminder of how your love for photography brings out the best in him. he's not bothered that much with those hidden shots you made. like what i've said before, this guy loves to pose and his ego is high enough to support all of this.

whenever you’re unsure about a shot or want feedback, drew tries to support you in his own way. “it’s almost as good as one of my performances,” he’ll say with a smirk, but his sincerity shows through. drew would also totally brag about you to others (others being may and her gang) , even if he’d rather do it behind your back to save face.

you’re out exploring a grassy field at sunset, hoping to get some unique photos of pokémon in the golden light. drew tags along, claiming he’s there to “see what all the fuss is about.” but as usual, he’s subtly angling himself, making sure he’s ready in case you snap any pictures of him or his pokémon.

you spot a beautiful butterfree resting on a flower, wings catching the light perfectly. as you line up the shot, drew moves closer, watching over your shoulder. he’s clearly trying to act disinterested, but he can’t hide his curiosity.

just as you’re about to capture the perfect shot, drew (purposely) nudges your arm slightly, making you accidentally snap a picture that’s a little blurry. “oh, come on!” you complained, hitting him on the head.

“what?” drew says, grinning with a shrug. “i was just… helping.” he crosses his arms, trying to act innocent but clearly enjoying the reaction.

but the butterfree flies away, leaving you with just the blurry photo. determined, you turn your camera on drew instead. “fine, if you want to be in the spotlight that bad.”

drew was caught off–guard "HEY, THROW THAT AWAY."

What’s your take on the first few episodes of Pokemon Horizons? I honestly liked the first few episodes, but my friend didn’t see anything of substance for some reason and called it “predictable.”

I like Liko, the plot's kind of generic, the villains have no drip, do like the ridiculous airship base. Paw beans are very cute.

It’s over...

It’s finally over...

I... I honestly don’t know what to say. I’ve spent the last two days trying to put my thoughts into words but... I just can’t believe after all this time...

It’s honestly bittersweet, knowing that after 26 years, Ash’s neverending journey has finally come to an end. I’m sad, but I’m not crying. I’m happy, but I’m not smiling.

I guess you can say I feel content. Content in knowing that although this journey may be over, the adventure truely never ends. There’s always more out there and although this will be the last we see of Ash and Pikachu, I feel proud knowing that they’re still out there persuing their goal.

And maybe... Just maybe I can do the same.

So long Ash, Pikachu and Team Rocket too! Thanks for taking me on this incredible journey with you!
