The other day I was playing around and found my titanic magically was really easy to hold. I realized it's likely because I had put a floor titanic into my competition piece and had been practicing it like crazy. I just thought I'd share the insight, as doing titanic can be really tricky sometimes, and holding the pole in between your face and shoulder can be kind of weird in your movement. Actually, this goes for a lot of moves! Just working the muscle in a similar position can help you achieve those tough tricks even when you aren't necessarily practicing them.
Also, I realize in the top pictures I am more in an illusionist pose, but it's the same principle. With strong thighs, the toughest part is ensuring you are holding the pole in a secure position. Other than that, it's not so bad :)
