introduction:

hi everyone! my name is elle and i’m an 18 y/o second-year university student trying to get motivated for the school year. since i’ll be studying at home, i’m trying to ‘romanticize’ studying in a way so i won’t succumb to being lazy this year lol. 

my major:

i’m an international policy major/ minoring in law. my program is actually a combo of economics, law and political science, which are all subjects i really enjoy :) also im an aspiring law school student so i’m working towards taking my LSAT in the near future!

my interests:

if you couldn’t tell already by my layout im really into the dark academia aesthetic haha. i love reading (mostly YA/Adult Fantasy and non fiction) and my side bookblr for book edits is @sanktilyas​ if anyone is interested! i’m also into writing and my dream is to publish my own book one day, so i honestly might be making a writeblr soon.

i’ll be posting studying tips and my own notes/study layouts for inspo! i love reblogging other people’s pretty notes and study tips, so i’ll be doing a mix of both on here. 

additional facts about me:

- i can speak three languages! i’m trying to improve my french as of now though and get to a perfectly fluent level soon 

- i haven’t used tumblr in a long time so apologies in advance if i accidentally forget to switch accounts and you see posts from my main 

- i’m a slytherin, scorpio and intj (yikes ik)

- my fave singer is hozier and my fave song of his is from eden!

- i love travelling and one of my goals is to study abroad in europe or east asia :)

It’s been along time since I’ve updated my studyblr with actual studying material but here we are! I was really tired during this lecture, so these notes are pretty funny now that I’m looking back at them. Anyhow, I’m in the thick of it now, my exams are nearing their end and so am I. This December will continue to bring new things for me, even after my exams conclude. There’s a lot going on at this time for me - cool stuff really. I need to grind my gears for the next 3? ish days and then I’m home free!!! Life’s been happening, to be frank, I’ve been feeling like a spectator in my own life, kinda watching what’s going down. But I feel as though that’s going away, fading kinda. Long post with minimal effort photos, but eh, what am I gonna do about that?

10.28.2019 - Today I’ve had such a wonderful morning and I think a lot of it is coming from taking care of myself. It sounds so cliche but sleeping enough, eating nutritiously, and going to the gym has made a massive difference for me in the past few weeks.
