apparently Matthew Mercer and Marisha Ray co-host a Witcher Gwent tournament at Moszna Castle today at 4 pm MY TIME, because it’s in my MOTHERFUCKING COUNTRY
so at my friend's kid's school there had been No Backpack Day on 19th March, which means that kids on that day are supposed to bring their stuff in anything that is not a backpack. anything goes
and among the many more tame options like shopping bags, suitcases and trash bags, there are some more creative highlights like:
iceboxes, cat carriers, tool boxes and a Corona Beer Bucket
furniture! like poufs, drawers or even a whole ass night stand
bedsheets and/or pilow cases
tiny shopping cart and Biedra basket
a car tire - if you're tired of lugging your stuff you can just roll it around
and my personal favourite
✨a clothes rack ✨

Slavs go into life not expecting it to be happy
Not my words, I heard them in a commentary to a game set in pre-revolution Russia, but they exploded my mind actually. It is true and I suppose it’s the reason why slav humor and slav cinicism have this distinctive flavor - also why the term slav sadness exist. We expect life to be difficult and not fair and mostly sad, we get used to the idea growing up. I wonder if that’s the reason so many of us turn to the bottle.
