“I’m not done with him yet,” Jan mumbled, strumming his guitar.

“I don’t care who bunks with me,” Bojan said. “As long as I get to sleep in the middle.”

“Jure is right, Jan. You’ve had Nace to yourself for a while. Maybe the two of us—“

Jan looked up. “Kris. No. I love you, but you’re so noisy in the morning that I get murderous thoughts.”

Nace leaned closer to Kris. “You’ll just have to be pinned down until Jan wakes up, then,” he suggested, causing Kris’s heart to skip a beat. He’d always been a sucker for his boyfriends’ dirty talk.

Kris stood up abruptly, face flushed. “Yes, well, um. Then that’s settled! I bunk with Nace. Let’s go!” He hurried to their room, casting a quick glance back to catch Nace’s eyes, urging him to follow.

Nace did, to the sound of Bojan and Jan’s cheers. Jure still wasn’t happy about being severely Nace-deprived, but Bojan’s heavy arms around his neck, and Jan’s purrs in his ear about trapping Bojan between them was enough to distract Jure.

They’d decide on a who-sleeps-where rota later.

It's a mess of a fic, because every member of the band+Martin has a different sexual orientation and identity and it all started from a post by @anxious-witch (I don't even remember the original post tbh)

Martin is queer cuz he doesn't like lables

Bojan is basically pansexual, but he doesn't like the pan pride colours, so he identifies as bisexual (and honestly, he'd be an amazing bi-disaster)

Kris is pansexual (and fights A LOT with Bojan because he doesn't like the pan colours)

Jan is asexual

Jure is aromantic

Nace is FTM-trans!

I also made a cover which shows basically how the pieces of the polycule get together (from left to right)

“This song doesn’t have distortion.”

The whole band turned and they saw a kid, pretty tall for his age and with really short hair. 

“Excuse me?” Bojan asked while getting closer to the limit of that small stage.

“The song you are playing. It doesn’t have distortion,” the kid repeated, throwing a cold glance at Bojan, then went away without saying anything else.

They all looked at each other, confused, but they decided to keep the distortion. They didn’t know that boy, what kind of authority he thought he had to tell them what to do with that song. His blue eyes left an impression on Bojan though. Their gaze was so intense.

“Was he Gušti’s child?” Martin asked once the kid left.

Bojan turned to him. “Wait, HE was Gušti’s child? Like, THAT Gušti?”

“Yeah, which other Gušti do you know?”

“I knew he would be here, but I didn’t think he would come here.”

“I think he attends this school,” Luka replied, joining the conversation, as that was a spread piece of information.

“Why nobody told me?!” Bojan almost shouted.

Why everybody knew about it but him? He turned again towards the door from which Gušti’s son appeared and disappeared a couple of minutes later. 

Those blue eyes and that piercing gaze really left a mark on Bojan, a really deep one, almost like a tattoo. He wondered what his name could possibly be. Because he had one, he wasn’t just “Gušti’s son”.

After their rehearsal, Bojan tried to find that kid, running from one classroom to the other, but he was nowhere to be found. He literally vanished.

The singer then came back to the gym. His bandmates were talking about some sports event, except for Martin, who was waiting for Bojan.

“Is everything ok, Boki?”

He nodded, then hugged him and laid his head against his chest. He wasn’t ok, and Bojan knew Martin felt that, but he didn’t ask any question.
