So I've heard it said that you're either polyamorous or you're not, that some people are polyamorous and some people just aren't.

Fellow polyamorous people, what do you think? Do you think some are simply more "predisposed" to polyamory than others? That some people will simply never be polyamorous?

My boyfriend surprised me, my kids, and our girlfriend with a spontaneous camping trip. We also had two other kiddos along for the night, and those kids all had a blast.

He arranged all this specifically for my son, simply because he has always wanted to go camping and never had the chance. My son got to learn how to build and help maintain a campfire. I haven't seen that kid's face light up like that on a long, long time.

Life is hard right now, especially financially. But sometimes you just have to enjoy what's right in front of you while it's there, and not stress about things out of your control.

I love him for doing this for us.

I am polyamorous and I will no longer be ashamed of it. I have the ability to love freely to create intimate, deep and meaningful relationships with more than just one person and that I will not be ashamed of. I am able to open up my heart and let someone get to know me and who I truly am and get to know them fully, I will no longer try to shape myself into what society sees as NORMAL, I will no longer fall for false companionship or surround myself with what I believe love is or ever to settle for less. I am who I am and I am proud of who I am and I will not hide anymore.
