I went on a date yesterday for the first time in a few years and had the best fucking day I've had in a long time, with an amazing, funny, nerdy, beautiful, cool as fuck woman.
Took her to a nearby store for all your nerd needs, got to listen as it enthusiastically talked about all the things that bring it joy, as we walked around and she pulled different things off shelves to talk about them.. "Damn. You really do like autistic bitches, huh?" Yes. Hells fucking yes.
There are very few things in my life that bring me greater joy than seeing someone light up as that person talks in-depth about a favorite topic or interest.... That sparkle in your eyes was a nail in my coffin.
We went out to a buffet for lunch, then had a drink together at a local goth nerd bar with retro consoles. Clowned on it a bit in tekken 3 (sorry about that) on accident, then somehow ended up talking about Kingdom Hearts fuckery while playing Final Fantasy 7, truly, the nerdiest shit.
Clearly, I have a fucking type lmao.
I don't know where things will go, but I know when I'm down bad, and I was already down bad for it before the date. Now? Chat, I'm fuckin cooked.
