saturday: a stroll through polyamoryland
I slept in
sun peaking through the blinds
kissing my bare skin
I sat at the front my yoga mat
awakened my oil diffuser
and began my morning routine
I hopped on the back of his bike
slid my body against his
wrapping my arms around him
as we flew over the pavement
I walked around the street fair with Knox
it was our first public dyadic date
we added to a chalk mural
and surveyed trinkets
before stopping for lunch
and getting to know one another better
I received a call from my husband
he had to stay at work late again
but he was fortunately able to get off
early enough for me to cheer him up
I took him on a scooter adventure
down to the water of the willamette
as the sun set and the stars appeared
we rode through the streets of the city
and ended up taking an elevator
up to the 30th floor of the
tallest building in Oregon
I ate dinner with Bridges
with a gorgeous view behind us
our bellies full of delicious food
falling more and more in love with each other
I ended the night by taking
our catdog, Zephyr, on a walk
through our quaint little neighborhood
whilst stargazing, reflecting
and reassuring my life partner
I had the most amazing day
and I am full of love and gratitude
for everyone that I am privileged enough
to spend this life with
