Those who Fell from Glory needed guidance, leadership, and hope. The Light Bringer offered that, and more; he offered purpose. Fight with him, he promised, and you would be saving the universe. The very motto of him and his Ouroboros, his council, can be translated as "For the ultimate good." They would, and will, and have, done anything in the name of that ideal. And he's so close, now, to the end of it all. So very, very close.

The Fallen Ængels of the Ouroboros; immortals, immortalized, by way of a painting commissioned by their leader. From left to right is Lailah of the Serafim, Rachiel of the Serafim, Azrael of the Serafim, Lucifer of the Serafim, Asmodeus of the Erelim, and Beelzebub of the Erelim. The portrait hangs in their War Room, a symbol of their eternal loyalty to one another, and the cause they fight for.

This is going to be part of a much larger piece I'm working on, but I liked it so much and I haven't posted any of my own art on here in a very long time. Shading was kind of lazy, but I have about 23 other individual drawings I'm doing for this project so I don't really care. Except for Rachiel's skin, I suppose, I do wish that looked a bit neater.

Anyway, stay tuned for the larger piece this is part of. I'd say it'll probably be up within a month from posting this. I would graciously consider myself about halfway done.

It’s time to make a shameless self insert. Non binary neonate Malkavian named Laelietta Giocoso-Kelev [Lael]. I’m so in love with them I’ve already planned another drawing of them.

some early headcanons for Lael~

* Experienced schizophrenia before being Embraced, so naturally, becoming a Malkavian has only deepened their psychosis. They believe they hear the voice of Existence through music, and one of their deep obsessions is “unlocking” the message it speaks.

* Their heavy journal is with them at all times, containing memories of their human life and the writings of their delusions. They refuse to part with it, typically keeping it in a messenger bag and never letter others touch or read it. They keep very good care of it, and it’s been lovingly rebound several times.

* Due to an accident that occurred during a swing of mania while human, Lael experiences chronic spinal/pelvic pain and has extensive scarring in these areas; while more manageable as a vampire, the pain never fully goes away, and flares up with their hunger, making it even more imperative for them to stay well fed.
