Day 1 | Productivity Challenge | 100 Days of Productivity | February Productivity Challenge

Day 1: What’s your favourite podcast?
I honestly don’t listen to podcasts much, as I’d rather have a YouTube video playing in the background on a topic that will help me either improve myself or learn a skill of some sort (or just pick up knowledge). When I do listen to podcasts, it’s 99.9% likely to be just because it’s in a language I’m studying, for that critical immersion.
So, it’s either that or music. I think when we’re so rat-raced mentality, even on the more mild side, it’s super helpful to have those times you turn off the content, slow down the consumption, and ground yourself in the moment when you do take the time to do the smaller things like laundry, cooking, whatever. So I’d rather listen to music, or something stimulating, like an audiobook! :)
Dave Ramsey’s financial podcast is the one podcast off the top of my mind I remember listening to a bit. Trust me when I say it was a moment of impulse, deciding “i’m gonna be a big boi who listens to podcasts now and lives life like a CEO”. I listened for a couple hours. Only lasted a couple days lol.
TL;DR I don’t have a favorite. If I listen to a podcast, it’s in a language I’m studying. I rather have YouTube, music, or an audiobook playing!
What did I accomplish today?
Studied Korean (reading & pronunciation, plus some jotting notes) for 2 hours in the morning
Located additional resources for Korean studies
Bible study (Nehemiah) for an hour in the afternoon
Cleaning room, cleaning out closet, filling up 2 big boxes of donate/sell stuff
Listed items to resell
Finally updated all of my devices which I always put off until it’s literally unhealthy for me and my tech x-x
Made a notion chart to track my progression through Japanese grammar points from N5-N1, as I’m aiming for N2 for this year’s JLPT (this is taking FOREVER- HELP-)
Delegated this week’s kanji to learn (~20 kanji), as well as next week’s
Japanese writing practice (kanji, hira-, kata-)
Located additional resources for Japanese studies
Japanese listening practice
Korean listening practice (continued yesterday’s audio drama)
Korean output practice (texting with Korean friend; major compliment today for using something most young koreans don’t even know :D)
Planned for tmw/day ahead (it’s currently 1am, I’m studying Japanese, don’t @ me xD)
nothing compares to the unbridled rage of asking your teacher how to conjugate apprendre for past tense only for her to say to pick another word because you haven’t learned it yet,,, please,,,, tell me how to conjugate it I just want to use the word. How am I supposed to say I learned something if you won’t tell me how to conjugate it :,(
my English professor: you shouldn't place a comma before "because"
me, stressed about Goethe Zertifikat: listen I haven't been placing commas before "weil" and "denn" for the last few years for you to tell me I can't place it before "because" when there cLEARLY IS A PAUSE THERE
me: *has a russian exam tomorrow, needs to write two essay in spanish, has a french grammar exam next wednesday, should get back to italian stat*
also me: *proceeds to devote all time and energy to learning korean*
me: if I study three different languages a day seven days a week I could study 21 languages at once

I dreamed I finally found a Pokemon game in Swedish and Dutch.
Thanks for making me sad, brain.
