With the answers I’ve gotten on my post about polyminds I can honestly say that I think you’re wrong? I mean, you’re entitled to your opinion of course! But polyminds seem to rarely call themselves “systems”, and if they call themselves plural, it’s moreso in a way of “more versions of myself” than “I am a system with alters”.

Correct me if I’m wrong.

Added to that point, I haven’t seen any polyminds claiming to be endogenic, or wanting to be endos - the vast majority of them seem to be aware of the fact that polymindence is their own version of IFS Therapy, just self-applied.

But again, you are entitled to your own opinion and frankly I haven’t exactly formed one of my own yet, so I do appreciate the ask, anon, and I will continue looking for more clarity on polyminds as I still don’t really understand them ^^

the more i think about it the more i think i may be anti polymind instead of neutral. initially my take was like if ur not stealing medical language then i dont care but honestly... the act of naming parts of yourself is a very normal thing to do, in singlets and in systems.

i knew someone who named their tics phoebe so they could be like "oh phoebes a bitch today she keeps saying xyz" or "phoebe keeps slapping me in the face" yk, its just supposed to be funny. i Am a system and i refer to my anxiety and ed as the bitchy school girl in my head with she/her pronouns. i know shes just my anxiety and not an alter because its very distinctly different. bitchy school girl is My anxiety, its not seperate.

that is a normal way of processing difficult feelings or situations or just day to day stuff. its normal to feel like ur in different modes in different situations, or like you argue with conflicting parts of yourself. thats normal, it doesnt need to be labelled as smth
