St-Vincent with the Polyphonic Spree
It's time to jump in It's time to let go Don't let the people think they know you They don't know You move around, you say goodbye to them There's always more to you than there are of them Keep yourself high Don't keep yourself low It's easy to forget what you came here for when you get old
Polyphonic Spree - Section 33 (You Don’t Know Me) from Yes, It’s True (released June 11, 2013)
He started the day with a mood and a shake. He was finally arranged. And someone said with a cold, hard chest, "You're a mess!" He woke up at nights. He thought he was twice. He was moving away cause everyone thinks that it goes away with age.
The Polyphonic Spree // "Section 14 (Two Thousand Places)," from Together We're Heavy
You've gotta be good, you've gotta be strong; You’ve gotta be two thousand places at once…
Calling Polyphonic Spree a solo project in a room full of middling white guys, just to feel something
I was kind of enh about this song before I saw them on "Scrubs". It works extra for me because the lead singer looks and acts a lot like a guy I had a bad crush on for years. And my goodness! Aren't there a lot of people in this band!
