Wanted to draw the gag where Jax rips off Ping's nose and throws it across the room like a bouncy ball XD I get why Gooseworx enjoys drawing Jax. He is pretty fun to pose, ngl.

I was never really a fan of tadc. From the start it felt too surface level with its themes, characters and dialogue. And I am unnecessarily critical when it comes to media so I thought I was being harsh. I expected it to get more mature as more episodes came out. I wanted to feel the dread the fans did.

Now there is one episode left and it still feels like a kids show.

I don't want uncensored cursing or sexual jokes. I just want a deeper look into the characters. But it rarely does that. And when it does it always focuses on the same thing so the characters feel flat.

The fans and the animation are the reasons I'm still engaging with the show.

Though despite my issues with it I'm happy it got popular. It helped Glitch have the budget for more shows and inspired people to create and work on their own projects.

Also I wanted to see if people agreed with me so I've been looking through the critical tag and I saw your Pomangle concept. The design and ideas seemed interesting to me so-

Also also my yellow pen betrayed me. The color wasn't supposed to look like that.

I don't have much commentary on the main part so apologies for skipping it over (I fully agree though, I wish the show had more depth)

honestly I adore the extra ribbon motifs... I might grab that tail from you if you don't mind (maybe I'll make that and the basic tail interchangeable idk)

Took me ages to get to this point, but I think I've decided on Ping's colours (more or less). I know red (and blue) was always the obvious choice but I wanted to explore other options before going straight to red. I think the character's really solidified now. Her visual language is a lot better. This isn't a nice rendered picture or anything - It's still really sketchy. It's a doodle (maybe I'd make her chin longer/more pointy). But I'm happy with the colours now. This works, I think.

(Ragatha would be taller than Ping. Not height-accurate). Look at them hahahahaha XD they're so different. Ragatha is a beautiful, damaged ragdoll and Ping is just...stuck in her pajamas. Forever. Pretty accurate reflection of depression though - if you don't pull yourself out of it, you *will* be stuck in your pajamas forever. Can't impress any pretty ladies if you're lounging in your PJ's all day.

(Ragatha's colours are a little bit off but Ping's colours are en-pointe here. Probably the best Ping render I've ever made).

EDIT: Forgot Ping's blush, but whatever. Just imagine it's there.

First one is kind of meant to be her reacting to Zooble but can obviously be interpreted as anything. Second one is representative of Gangle almost abstracting at the end of Fast Food Masquerade 👍🏾
