The National Go Barefoot Day has been in celebration since the year 2004. The people at Soles4Souls, a global charity organization, has come up with such an idea and created this Day. It has been created after the attack of Tsunami, a disaster that occurred in 2004. It was aimed at supporting those people who are affected by this natural calamity. The real purpose of Go Barefoot Day is it encourages people to donate shoes both new and used in a way provide support for the victims of natural disasters. Nearly 19 million pairs of shoes have been donated from all over the world in the year 2005. Soles4Souls is a non-profit organization that is encouraging people to provide their help and support in the form of shoes for millions of underprivileged children who are residing globally. So you can do a little spring cleaning and give away the pairs of shoes you are no longer using it to those who are in need of it.
How to Celebrate National Go Barefoot Day
Celebrating the National Go Barefoot Day is very simple. Firstly you have to go barefoot as a way start indulging yourself to celebrate this observance.
