bike ride to the gym

worked lifeguard job 445a to noon

bike ride home

gym workers received mini Hershey bars

usual swimmers early plus local high school swim team and 2 of the Air Force special warfare candidates practiced swimming. then pools closed to customers at 630a. swim meet officials in at 7a and swim teams started coming in at 730a.

top = another packed natatorium for the championship day for this Louisiana high school division. great to see the swimmers and parents and coaches excited to compete. a little sad when a swimmer suffers loss and is emotional

middle left = fog this morning

middle right = championship podium

bottom = lights installed under the tent give nice ambiance this morning

the gym provided sandwiches and jambalaya for the workers

took a 45 minute nap

swim culture is dual-wielding sprint butterfly and distance freestyle as my best two event types........ doing the 500 free and 50 fly at the same meet is jarring
