me: ruh roh
“ I like Ryuji.”
they bicker a lot, but Morgana and Ryuji are great
Ryuji just caught on to Morgana’s “WHATEVER SHALL WE DO HOW DO WE GET BACK INTO THE SHACK IF ONLY WE HAD A DISTRACTION”
and then IMMEDIATELY starts doing it too
like lmao these nerds

↳ LOUD AND DEAFENING SILENCE PROMPTS ↳ ❛ company . silently sit with my muse to comfort them.
Water laps at Ann's ankles, her heels set to the side as she sits at the edge of the shallow end of the pool, wine glass in hand. It's an unusual sight to say the least, despite how, from a distance, Ann appears her usual composed self. Not that there's many to see the sight when they're crowded into the dance floors or games or god knows what else. She doesn't care at the moment, quite frankly. It's nice out here like this. She lifts her lips and swallows a gulp of wine.
Hatter is dead. Which effectively means the militants are in charge. And at the speech, while Hatter's absence was ODD, no one seemed to really think much on it. Maybe they just didn't want to, because that would ruin paradise. All Ann knows is nothing good is going to come from this. She deserves a few drinks tonight.
" Don't worry, I'm not drunk. " Ann's voice remains calm and collected despite the concern that lingers in the frown of her lips and lowered eyes. She wouldn't drown herself over this. But it is upsetting. Hatter wasn't someone she had close connections with, she was skeptical of his ideas, but he had created all this. He gave people hope. And he'd kept the militants stable with Aguni for some time. Now, all out divisions were inevitable.
Crickets chirp in the grass, for once being able to sing now that the music isn't blasting and people aren't screaming and yelling everywhere. She finally looks towards Patricia, her shoulders slumping ever so slightly under the weight of her thoughts. But the silence...it's nice. She appreciates that there's no immediate prying.
Ann's never had anyone just sit with her before. Not outside of just waiting around for evidence to come back or something to be finished up. It's nice in a way, circumstances aside. She appreciates it for a little while, simply taking in the sounds of the night and the cool water against the humid summer air.
" I think I'm going to need another glass of wine tonight. " Ann lifts the cup to her lips, draining the last of her wine before she sets it to the side of the pool.
On one hand yes, sure, I want to see the second season of Gentleman Jack. But on the other hand I read everything I could find about Anne Listers life and I don't know how to cope with it if I also have to see it on screen
