He had to listen to her. He had to.

By all accounts, she was his god, and he couldn't go against anything she may say or do. But, if Demiurge wanted to be honest with himself, it felt like she insisted on trying to make him the target of her uncouth behavior.

Having the files he required to hand over to her, he knocked on her door. “My Lady?”

“You may enter, Demiurge.”

He fixed his tie, doing his all to make sure he was at least looking his best before opening the door to allow himself inside.

She was sitting in her chair, legs crossed with a drink in hand. It was obvious she was expecting him. The archdevil cleared his throat, trying to not take note of her revealing outfit she was wearing or the imposing energy of dominance that filled the air.

“I have...come as requested. You wished to know about—!”

“Kneel,” she interrupted, her tone showing she had a sort of love of making the demon suffer. Just a bit.

Demiurge almost wanted to swear at himself for not thinking about doing so earlier. She was a Supreme Being, for gods sake. Without a word, he dropped to one knee and lowered his head.

“Not there, you fool.” She uncrossed her legs, spreading them open to where the demon did everything in his power not to look and be disrespectful. “I require a footrest at the very least.”

“I-don't you require me to read the documents you requested of me, my Lady?”

“You can put them on the floor and read it that way, Demiurge.” She finished the last of her drink, putting it off to the side. “And here I thought you were intelligent. Or is being my footrest beneath you?”

“N-No! Of course not, my Lady!” Demiurge was doing his all to remain patient. He was. He could handle a lot of things from his Supreme Beings, but after so many days of this—he was beginning to feel less like himself.

Putting the papers off to the side on the floor, he got down on his knees to where her heels dug unpleasantly into his shoulders. He gritted his teeth, doing his all to remain professional.

“Now go ahead and read, handsome.”

He took in a long, deep breath. At least that bit of flattery was granted his way. It would prevent him from cracking—for now.

It was the information that Demiurge had gathered from the surrounding kingdoms, doing his all to dig deeper into the documents written by Sebas Tian. That required a lot of gathering about other peoples of interest throughout the select areas the dragonoid was sent to.

Midway through document one, he hitched in breath as her heel dug into his upper back. Not that it hurt, mind you, but it did excite him a bit (much to his dismay). Don't do this, my Lady, he mentally pleaded. If you're going to do such a thing...the least you can do is sate me!

But she never would. She would intentionally tease him like this till he was a mess.

“Why have you stalled, Demiurge? There is more, isn't there?” she asked with an obnoxious sigh.

His fists clenched on the floor, his teeth grinding as he finally pushed himself free from the situation he was in. “Yes! Of course there is, my Lady! But I can't do it like your pet any longer!”

She let him release his anger, not showing she was upset by any means. If anything, she was interested to see him just go nuts. Odd to say it was a relief in a way. It showed he wasn't being robotic. “Angry, are we?”

“Of course I am!” He motioned towards her with a nasally huff. “I've done everything you've asked, my Lady—everything and more—yet it's never enough! When will it be enough for me to do other things for you?! With you!”

She pushed herself to her feet, a hand resting firmly on his chest with a wicked grin. “When I say so, sweetheart.” Her palm lightly tapped his face. “Don't be so upset, sweetie. Work harder and try not to snap at those who have authority over you.”

She wasn't mad, really. More amused than anything.
