Is there a fic in which the clone troopers are designed to have no idea what sex is so Rex and Cody are very concerned when they keep hearing noises that sound like General Kenobi is being hurt by General Skywalker when passing their rooms and various other hidden places around the ship. They become so worried that Anakin is harming Obi-Wan that they take it right to Mace Windu and ask the Jedi Council to investigate. 

Mace is like OH FUCK NO but they are required to follow due process after an official complaint. Yoda cackles and gets the popcorn. Ahsoka wishes she could travel to another dimension to avoid the shame of having such embarrassing dads. Anakin and Obi-Wan have no idea because they are busy in a supply closet.

Been gone for a while but I’m coming back now to throw some shade on Krell. It’s the little things that just show how little respect he has for the clones and it’s infuriating

He did not just do that. Oh I’m sorry you want to stand there? I’m pretty sure that clone would like to live but he can’t do that anymore because of your stupid “strategies” (that probably weren’t even stupid because they accomplished exactly what Krell wanted)

Oh and this. The clones cowering and trying to protect themselves from a blast that almost hit them. And what does Krell do? Looks over to them and looks annoyed. YOU GOT THEM INTO THIS!

Star Wars and why I believe Obitine…

never hid their relationship from the public.

Yeah, ya read that right.

If you read my stuff over on ff.net, I hint that they didn’t do anything to hide they were together - I even have a fic where they troll the holo-net.

But when it comes down to it - whether you believe Korkie was their kid or not - hiding a relationship/even casual sex is not in either of their personalities.

Obi-Wan’s loyalty, first and foremost, is to the Jedi Order and the Republic. Trying to balance two vows would tear him apart, given what he said on the Coronet. “Had you said the word blah blah blah.”

He loves too deeply and too much. But unlike Anakin, he recognizes this about himself, and spends a majority of his life coming to terms with it. Therefore, he will love everything at arms-length, always aware that there could be more, but not pursuing it. This philosophy comes from a lifetime of losing those close to him and always being put second.

For example - he was almost put in the Agricorps, was taken reluctantly by Qui-Gon just before he aged out, spent a year fighting a civil war no one cared about - and loved a girl in the process, spent his youth chasing after Qui-Gon’s former apprentice that had fallen to the Dark Side, having to distance his friendship with Siri for fear of attachment, watching Qui-Gon spiral into depression after Tahl died, loving Satine…

And that’s all before Anakin!

He is basically cast aside when Anakin arrives, then has to hold Qui-Gon in his arms while the man dies and listen to the words “Train the boy.” He’s ill-prepared, he’s hurting, he doesn’t know what to do - closing in on himself and preaching the Jedi Code to Anakin becomes a coping mechanism - if he repeats it enough, he might actually believe his own words.

But there is nothing in the rules that says he cannot pursue physical relations and close friendships, and I think that’s what he would latch onto by the time that Satine comes back into his life.

Now on Satine’s end…

God, we don’t know enough of her backstory to reason this - but I’ll try.

Satine seems like the type of person who gathers intelligence from all sides, then uses her own misguided, warped judgement to complete whatever task at hand. I can only guess that she knew of Obi-Wan’s past - they spent a year on the run, after all - and knew to trod carefully around certain subjects.

On the surface, she was Duchess of the New Mandalorians, who...liked the Jedi? We really don’t know. I’ve always guessed it was the Kryze clan that liked the Jedi, but I could be wrong. (Hopefully we get an answer to that soon.)

On a deeper level - she knows Mandalorians as a whole hate the Jedi, and hate her as well. They already want her off the throne, and publicly sleeping with a famous Jedi? For years? It’d be like a slap to the face to them, and she would revel in it.

It’d probably be a  giant “F you” to the Jedi and the Republic as well. “You made one of your best a living commodity? Well I’m gonna share his bed and know all his secrets.” (Sips martini and smiles).

The Republic and the Jedi Order would probably have mixed feelings about their relationship. A Mandalorian and a Jedi? Together? Romantically?

I bet he got a lot of side-eyes from people in the Order, because their prejudices are still getting the better of them. I can completely imagine Mace saying, “Jedi must not be biased,” and Obi-Wan just looks at him.

I can imagine the Order giving up, because as Chancellor Palps points out, “We have the trust of Mandalore - isn’t that all that matters?”

(On a completely unrelated note, I feel horrible for any clones that had to guard General Kenobi’s rooms when Duchess Satine was on board. General Skywalker and Senator Amidala were one thing, but Kenobi?

They probably gave shinies the job to horrify them. Fives is still traumatized.)
